      Sad thing is that it would take up too much time and resources to build something like this from scratch to use on a movie set.

      Even worse was using the M-47s and M-48s in Movies like Paton and Battle of the Bulge US Tanks are painted to like German tanks ! The T-34 looks a little more like a German tank with a little work.

    It's pretty easy for me to tell it's a replica, but it's a better replica than 95% of those used in movies where the budgets are huge. For a low budget home built tank replica it is beyond amazing on the outside.

      Manual weights were added to the guns counterweight, with additional shocks beneath to create a slower abruption. Kind of like you lift your arm up with a can of Cola in a truck when you hit a pothole

      One of the great things about the early days of RUclips - was that _anybody_ could post a video and - so people did and you'd see all these things that average people had done and it was really kind of cool. I'm sure there are still people doing that but they tend to get lost in the plethora of videos done by people who are monetized so that RUclips - is their job.
      That's OK ... but there was something about just average people putting these things together that was cool.

    Put some high effort accurate schurzen skirts for the hull and turret, then cover it in Ash and Birch limbs with lots of leafs bundles and it would totally pass for a Pz.kpfw. IV Ausf H for movie roles. The proper engine sound could be added in post audio work. It would pass, especially at distant shots in and amongst hedgerows with all its foliage.

      Now if it was an ex military vehicle, then yeah I would expect that even on private property you would need to register it/prove its disarming/have a license - but the thing is - this isn't a military vehicle, it isn't armed or armoured, and its on private property.

    Very good idea on the differential. My sons and I are going to build a couple of replicas for fun as we are tank nuts. At the price you spent you really did a lot. The suspension, tracks and differential seem to be the most complicated parts on a replica. I'm sure on a real tank things like the the gun stabilizer and sighting systems are the most complicated but since our replicas will just have old pipes for a main guns it should be pretty basic!!!

    As a German, I can atest that;
    Although it obviously lacks German quality and therefore partially, what makes our tanks to historically memoreable, I still appreciate the effort, that went into this.
    Good work. Keep it up. Some personal recommendations would be to tighten the tracks, work on the interior for more control over the machine and offer a proper compartment.
    And obviously, a real cannon, but that can be saved for last.
