    Why is the skill level of masterchef Australia so much higher than in the US?!

    • @nirmalsuki
      @nirmalsuki 5 лет назад +2948

      Masterchef US: Let's get some trashy people to fight each other and make it attractive to even the trashiest of viewers by adding unnecessary conflict. Ratings are king!
      Masterchef Australia: Let's get some great amateur cooks and let them collaborate and be themselves and have some great food being made. Amazing shows will never drop in the ratings.
      Also, in US, reality shows generally tend to pick people based on characters rather than skills.

Apparently the producers shot down his initial proposal because it would be too hard for the contestants at this stage. I checked his restaurant menu, and this one is on his tasting Menu, the rest are a-la carte.

So it's not surprising Reynold is that good. The restaurant in Sydney called Koi and it's owned by all the three brothers and Reynold cook there, so he really is that good! zan i watch both the american & australian show each year, renolds went out in a challenge to, but i have not seen 1 american contestant that could come close to competing with him or the majority of other aussie cooks, love to see an american finalist get caught up in a heston challenge or even a zumbo, let alone gilmore etc, 5 hours or so for 1 dish with hundreds of elements, example look up the final billie won , heston was so impressed he gave her employment at his world famous fat duck restaurant,

    I think that Chloe really showing her admire and speechless expression of Reynold' dessert, can be seen through all her expression. Maybe she's really into dessert or knowing completely that it's really hard to create that signature 😆😁

    The applause and amazement for him was stronger than the champion's. He doesn't have to win the title, he already has it. Look at those judges and contestants faces cheering for him.

    This dessert makes the one he made for MasterChef Indonesia, like an amateur level pastry. This looks stunning and artistic.

    • @BIOSHOCKFOXX

      If you got the money...of course...so it's kind of hard to state or say "a gift to humanity", when you actually start to think about it rather than just spew words out out of sheer amazement.
      That's the only thing I would argue about, so don't get me wrong in general.
