Thanks Eric. Have heard some of the other camera's are not very good and have been waiting for something with good quality. This could be my choice. Appreciate the training video's as well. Excellent as always and enjoy getting products from TechnoRV.
I 'ASSUME', from your description, it also operates as an Observation Camera while driving. My Tow Vehicle has a backup camera but, it is only on during backing up my vehicle.
Hey Rix, Yes, if you give the camera a steady power source then it will be on all the time, otherwise, you would tie it into your reverse lights and it would only come on while backing up. Most people will tie it into a steady power source, light the parking lights, and then just turn the parking lights on while traveling. Hope this helps. Eric
Great video and another option for people who are needing a wireless setup. For myself, I'm looking for a recommended hard wired camera to add to my already installed camera system. I would like to add a second rear camera (one for backup and another for monitoring traffic going down the road) as I have an available fourth connection to my camera system. Adding another monitor is not an option as I already have multiple screens all over my driving area (GPS, chassis cameras, tire monitor, phone, Radio).
The good news about hardwired systems is you are not dealing with signal strength. If you like the brand you are using, then I would just add another one of those. Safe Travels. Eric
The Vision Works website shows the specs for the "5 inch HD Wireless System (RV Pack)" as a 720p camera with 120 degree viewing angle and a 600ft LOS. That is different from what your reviewing. I don't see any products on the Vision Works website with a 1080p camera and a 1000ft LOS). Can you confirm that your specs are correct (possibly Vision Works website is outdated - which is not a good sign).
Hi Country! We contacted VisionWorks for clarification and their site is incorrect for the 1,000ft LOS and they will be updating it. Our website states the camera has a 720p camera, but we misspoke on the video saying 1080p. Thanks for reaching out so we can get this corrected!
In your video, you mentioned a youtube site.... something DayDream... I missed the first part. Also - I have a tow vehicle (an old Ford Escape) with no backup lights (switch failed way back and cost too much to bother fixing - LOL) -- would the vision works camera be a good way to see when I back from parking spots and be portable to a newer vehicle when this one "dies"... LOL
Hey Doug, the youtube channel is "Keep your Daydream". As for the Visionworks, yes, these are great for helping with parking. The camera will be installed on the vehicle, but you could uninstall it to move to another vehicle if you wanted to, but it is not something I would be doing a lot of. I hope this helps, and thanks for the comment. Eric
Will you be carrying the VisionWork's Mach 2 system in the future? Considering this for my Ram truck. I really like the idea of not having to add another screen to my dash. Your videos are great by the way, very informative.
Hi Allen, WE are probably not going to carry that as a regular item, but we are happy to put you in touch with someone at VisionWorks to facilitate getting you what you need. I hope this helps. Eric
Hi Nick, we actually do not have video of the test on the motorhome. We did take the footage of that and maybe we can get a video of that out at some point. Eric
Hi Jeffery, the side mount cameras will be available in about 2 months. I have not tried the Haloview. I believe their home office is out of the country and I try to stick with companies that at least have a home office in the states.
Please tell me if you have road tested the signal strength by driving the unit down highways at highway speed, through congested cities, and whatnot. Has the image ever frozen?
Hey David, Yes, we did test it at highway speeds and we also went through cities, but not sure how congested I would consider them. Our testing was extreme, and not something that someone would normally be doing. I have a 41 foot motorhome and tow a Jeep. I put the camera on the very back of the Jeep, below the roof line and behind a 35"tires that is on the back of the Jeep. Then I put the monitor in my motorhome on the floor, not even mounted, to try to create some more obstructions. Every other unit I tested did not make it out of the drive way without pixelating or blacking out. Since the VisionWorks is a digital signal, you would not get pixelating, it is either on or not. I also had my hardwired monitor in my RV on so to compare the units, as we all know, a hardwire monitor does not have the same obstacles as a wireless system does. In a 4 hour trip, there may have been just a few times that it skipped a bit due to slight delay. I suspect in the most horrid of situations you may see a bit of this at very high speeds, but not likely, and certainly not routine. If I had this mounted on the back of my RV like most RVers will do, I have no doubt I would not have even had those few slight delays. I am very impressed with this system. I hope this helps.
Hi Mark. We do have additional rear view cameras, and they are releasing side marker light cameras that work the system in a few months, Here is the link to the extra rear view camera: www.technorv.com/vision-works-hd-wireless-all-in-one-camera/
Thank you for another excellent informative video! Love Techno RV, and will choose your RV products and recommendations with confidence!
Thanks CP!
Just sold me on the vision works camera system.... thank you for the great review and comparison
Glad it was helpful!
I think we definitely need to try this out! 😊
You should...and I know where you can get one. 😉

I need that Furrion bracket to hack up to mount one of my Garmin BC 35 cameras.
What happened to the video of you testing it on your Motorcoach?
Hi Nick, we actually do not have video of the test on the motorhome. We did take the footage of that and maybe we can get a video of that out at some point. Eric
I’m really excited about the new camera system. Are the monitors Ram mount compatible?
The systems come with a suction cup Ram style mount, and you can purchase separately a permanent mount that is also Ram style. I hope this helps. Eric
HAve you tested the Haloview system as well? Also Do you know when the side mount camera will be out?
Hi Jeffery, the side mount cameras will be available in about 2 months. I have not tried the Haloview. I believe their home office is out of the country and I try to stick with companies that at least have a home office in the states.
@@Technorv Thanks. I am getting a new 5th wheel in a couple of months and would like to have that option.
How long will it take for the 128SD card take to fill up and start over? I’m thinking of using it as a security system while it is parked.
Hi Mike, it takes about 1 Gig per hour, per camera that you have on the system. It will record a good bit before looping. I hope this helps. Eric

@@Technorv Good to know. Thanks.
I would like to upgrade my 2004 Tiffin wired backup camera system. Do you offer a wired version of the new 10" system?
We do not offer that, but we can get you in touch with our rep at VisioWorks so they can help you get what you need.
Will you carry the cameras to add to the system? If so, what will the price be?

Does VisionWorks automatically display back up assist lines when in reverse?
Hi Kris, You can go into the menu of the monitor and add the lines when you want them, or leave them up at all times. I hope this helps. Eric
Can it be used as an observation camera while driving or is it just a backup camera?
If you give it consistent power by wiring it into the marker lights, then yes, it can be a rearview camera.
@@Technorv Great...thank you.
I be getting one when we talk You know who is wrong - You are not Cousin Eddie
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Hervey!
can you also connect to a wireless Garmin dash cam 46?
Hey Norris, the Garmins will not sync up with the VisionWorks, sorry about that.
