    I've been confused as hell about which pen display to go for and have been browsing continuously since last 3 days. Then I found your video and placed the order immediately. Thank you so much for saving me of further hassles. Great content! ❤️

    Just ordered this one after my Kamvas 22 Plus just stopped working after 3 years. I hope this one doesnt happen the same. Huion support is really, not there to help you out. But Im in love with 22 inch size is the perfect size for me, and when I found this was exactly like mine but with better screen, I jumped on it. Worth notice that the 3.0+ pens are compatible. I love to use my slim pen from Huion. Hopefully it will not break in 3 years!

    Which would you pick between the Huion Kamvas RDS 220 and the XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro?

    • @claybrush
      @claybrush  3 месяца назад +1

      Both are very capable products. I'd go with the Huion just for its pen. I found its nib stiffer than the xp pen. xp pen comes with a larger display and extra keys which is a plus point for a few artists. I like my keyboard so I'm with the Huion.

    Could you please mention the advantage over kamvas 22 plus other than 2.5k resolution

    • @TheDearRecorded
      @TheDearRecorded Год назад

      I actually read that the 22 Plus has 250 nits of brightness whereas the RDS-220 has only 220 nits.
      (This was from their website when you go to the screen tablet product page, you click on Compare Models at the bottom)

    Curious how you connect the power adapter to a usb c cable? Im picking up a 22 plus soon and would also like to do away with the 3 in one connector to cut down on wires!

    • @claybrush
      @claybrush  7 месяцев назад

      The power adapter for this one is a usb type C, like ipad or any phone adapter. With Kamvas 22+ there is no such adapter inside the box. May be you can try with a usb type c adapter and a cable for power and one usb c to connect with the computer (just like kamvas pro 19) and it might work. Something I also need to try.
      Thanks ☺️

    What do you think is the quality differences between this and the cintiqs?

  • @TheDearRecorded
    @TheDearRecorded Год назад

    I'm still on the fence between this RDS-220 and the Kamvas 22 Plus.
    You made a good argument on the resolution making me really want the rds 220. I also actually like not having any screen side keys and prefer the little Bluetooth keyboard to place wherever I like.
    But the only thing holding me back is, I saw that the brightness nits on the Kamvas 22 Plus is 250cdm and this RDS 220 has 220cdm of brightness.
    One thing I was hoping for, coming from a Cintiq is a brighter & clearer screen than the fill dull look of most Cintiqs (although mine is quite old so I don't know if it's all the same now? Bright & clear than the laminated haze/dull look?)
    Any help at all on this subject would be super appreciated

    • @claybrush
      @claybrush  Год назад +1

      Peak brightness between rds220 and 22plus is not much, visually it’s very similar. Though I never use the tablet at peak brightness, I also keep it at a warmer tone to reduce gamma exposure.
      In my opinion the higher resolution is the biggest factor one should go with rds220.
      Overall display of rds220 looks and feels sharper and more responsive.

      @@claybrush hey, super thanks for being so responsive and replying quickly to questions! Just subscribed to your channel!
      Thanks for the points on brightness!
      01. I've never been able to see a Huion display in person. It's nicer than the Wacom displays? I loved the response of the Wacom displays but always hated the dull hazy look from the way it was laminated for a matte display.
      02. I also love the textural feeling of a real pencil on paper and keep trying to find the right combination of pen tip and screen surface that comes closest to that. The felt tips that come with the Huion pen is meant to give you a better friction when drawing?
      I guess I'm looking for the best of both worlds. Clarity of a glossy display but a great textural feel when drawing with a matte display :D
      03. Does it mount onto a VESA mount? If you tried that, which stand would be stable enough to support drawing without the display constantly moving if suspended from a stand?
      Sorry for all the questions but you're the only person who owns this display and actively responding and very happy to have found your channel!!!

    HUION KAMVAS 22 Plus or Huion Kamvas RDS 220 which one is better?

    • @claybrush
      @claybrush  8 месяцев назад

      rds220 is 2.5K and 22pkus is fullHD.
      I’ll go for the rds 220 for sure.

    are still using it? Is it still going strong? I read reviews on Amazon saying it stopped working after few months. How is the reliability and built quality of it? There are hardly any long term reviews for this tablet.... I am super tempted to get it... But these negative reviews are stopping me from having one...

      Huion tablets are great, I have always had a great experience with them. I used rds220 for a few months only. It’s a very good product overall, but before investing I always see into details like part replacement and after sales service. Consider that before buying any brand tablet.

    What is this Huion display? I don't see it in Europe. Is it only available in India? Here, there's only a Kamvas 22 Plus (doesn't have this name RDS220) and it's only Full HD. For my desk size, I can't go bigger than 22 but there's no QHD 2.5K resolution
