  • @Nash_son_of_Zeus
    @Nash_son_of_Zeus Год назад +44

    The crazy thing is that it won't take THAT long. For every inch of movement toward the galaxies in question, the speed at which they will collide increases exponentially. When there are super massive gravity wells, such as galaxies, the rate at which they are attracted to each other is only inhibited by the next closest galaxy, depending on it's position. It is just as likely that, with how galaxies work, that they will never collide, though they may get disconcertingly close, in relation to other galaxies and nebulae that are within a "push-pull" distance. It could also be that they act like electrons in an atom, never getting too close, but eventually hopping over to another system to maintain balance within that system, aka valence electrons. Too many possibilities exist for this to be a definite.

    • @Mohdaman13
      @Mohdaman13 Год назад

      @@Fluke2SS that isn't really true, the solar system will be fine other than the sun having already turned into a red giant, the black holes colliding would take millions of years as they slowly circle into each other, it would form a quasar which could destroy most of the life nearby, that is up to our luck since the solar system will most likely be flung to some random part of the galaxy, if we aren't as close to the center we might be saved from the insane radiation that would ensue
