He looks down on puppet type characters, hence the comment "reling on others". He himself insists on fighting in person going as far as dragging his unconscious body to the battle with a mechnised bed despite the fact he could just enter people's dreams and kill them there, or just remote control machines to do the dirty work. He treats fighting and taking lives VERY personally and despises anyone who doesn't.
Imagine fighting someone and they pull up in you on a mattress and half conscious and they call you a coward for bringing like 5 ants.😂

As someone who got really obsessed with Bedman's lore-
->Bedman is taking a jab at how Answer was unable to help when he attacked Chipp, only being able to threaten him, which is also useless since nobody knew how to catch him.
->He calls Baiken a violent person or someone with a grudge.
->He's annoyed because Bedman himself doesn't actually like to fight, he only fights when ordered and otherwise prefers to keep to himself.
->Dizzy's "lack of common sense" relates to how she doesn't know many things and is still learning, but can't seem to figure out things that would requite just a bit of common sense to figure out; for example, she confused a quiche with a dessert despite making it.
->Elphelt is a "poor child" because in his and his benefactor's plans, she's effectively a sacrificial sheep and he, sadly, is willing to sacrifice her for their goals.
->Bedman can't be friends with Faust due to the fact that, as a doctor, Faust is willing to save any patient while Bedman is willing to, again, sacrifice others for his goals. Also, because Bedman's health is of no matter to him as he prioritizes his own sister's well-being over his, Faust would certainly nag him about it
->Kum can actually 'tune' people, she can 'hear their strings' of them not just their ki, and Kum comments Bedman's are completely out of tune (which makes sense as both his body and heart/mind are out of sync with each other).
->Jack-O's both a poke at her gameplay mechanic and the fact she doesn't know herself, relying on other's (Sol's) view of her to construct/behave in a certain way because she's unsure, needing others.
->For Leo's, this is actually a show of Bedman's hubris; he thought Leo was too dumb to understand or grasp the situation, yet, it was Leo himself who managed to figure out how Bedman could teleport just by studying him during their short combat, information nobody else had managed to figure out, much to Bedman's annoyance.
->Raven's actually indeed Bedman calling him lazy, but it's because of Raven's own past experiences that this takes a different meaning; as someone who once was extremely relied on, Raven chose to stop taking an active role in situations and instead indulging on his own hobbies, which Bedman views as lazy; as in "you have the power to act yet chose not to, uh?"
->Bedman calls Sin the same in English: King Jr. Sin is actually the other 'kid' Bedman tolerates, he has no real mean comment towards him; Sin is still an innocent child and is on the other side of the coin when it comes to Bedman's situation (their minds do not match their bodies), so he's still an idealist; therefor, idealist Jr.
->Slayer's outsider due to the fact he has no weight on their situation, he doesn't exactly win nor lose if Bedman and his client success since he's a vampire, so Bedman's referring to how he's someone "outside the story stepping in"
With Raven I believe it's also a reference to what Asuka says "Ill leave the rest to you." Raven and Asuka have a heart to heart about it in Rev2 After Story A.
After happy chaos arcade mode this can mean slayer can travel through universes
I would argue for faust its something different.

In bedman's instakill his nightmares have him relenting about variables in data, he also complains about noisy data and inconsistencies frequently, hating when plans cannot take into account chaos and the actions of others, and he happens to despise unpredictability, missing data, and outliers, making sense for a guy that also reads the minds of his opponents in battle (why he couldn't sense robo-ky for example, or the Slayer scene in story mode, where Millia is told that opponents fighting bedman have to turn their thoughts off to beat him)
TLDR: Not just because he is a doctor, but because faust is unpredictable to bedman. Like straight up a bad spread sheet would make bedman want to kill himself
Phrase about Sin is Sin is Kinpuku - "Meathead"
Can you provide that in Japanese writing? It's not a word I've heard of before (not in the dictionary either) and searches do not show anything relevant.
@@SeaLeafDojo I tryed asking my wife and it turned to be even 3 layer joke.
1. Kinpuku - Meathead. Meat - キン肉, Puku - from 軍服, literally more fuku - outfit. Its someone who doesnt think much and has well developed body. Slang word from the late 80th when body-builders, action films and street gangs were a thing. Original comment from her was: "So yeah, he is just like an original yankee boy from action film!"
2. Kinpuku - is non-describable pun related to him being blonde (金髪). I dont get it either.
3. Kinpuku - Golden boy. Kin like in 金 + bountyfull (rich in resource) (フくイ). Original comment from her was: "Hehehe! Boy with the silver spoon!"
Additional layer - Meat baloon filled with water (a person who always drinks). Meat (in this case meatbag) 肉 and puku from Bubble (ぶくぶく) literally referring to his liking to sweet water and water in general). Bukubuku can also means the speed of growth, which is special for a gear. That is peak pun!
Its like a rakugo thing, having a joke with double meaning. And Bedman respectfully makes fun of him.

@@bombicusbombicus8345 I think the pun is that "kin" is the Japanese word for "gold", and Sin has golden blonde hair.
I wonder if the reason bedman refers to slayer as an outsider is because he is a nightless. happy chaos's story mode mentions that werewolfs and vampires(nightless) have some sort of unconscious connection to the backyard and are very much anomalies. bedman seems to have at least some knowledge of the backyard, so I wouldn't be surprised if bedman also knew this

@@fireweeblem5553 I don't think any have been playable? there's a slim chance that giovanna is a werewolf but, since they have shown so little of her character I think it's unclear
Was just about to comment that! Especially because if i remember correctly Zappa's XXAC story shows that Slayer comes from some monster world thing.
bedman in his win quote against slayer asks him to stay out of human affairs if he has nothing of importance.
I mean, HC also calls out Bedman for the same thing. Bedman would absolutely know what's up with Slayer and other demihumans.
I'm not versed in GG lore, but Jack-O relying on others could just be a reference to her minions. Maybe this is too basic.

There’s a series of videos by rednecked crake that has the translations for all the Rev 2 character select screen voices.
2:00 their translation for Bedman’s comment on Baiken was “violent grudge”, referring to how Baiken’s anger and bitterness comes from her childhood trauma of losing her family and friends to Gears and That Man
i think that his comment regarding faust is not just that either bedman or faust necessarily are hard to be friends with, but more so that faust is extremely unpredictable - something that bedman has stated to hate on multiple occasions
Like a glitch in the matrix. In a sense a parallel too, he after all was the best doctor(is smart) and went mad due to some insident(kind of like how he doesn't like doing bad stuff to the point he can only justify killing them now by going back in the past to repay them once he saves them
The "rely on others" on jack-o is probably a joke about how her gameplan revolves around summoning and powering up minions
I always thought Sin's line was 空腹 / kuufuku (hunger / empty stomach), but I've seen a lot of different answers for some of these on old JP forums, because of how hard they are to hear.
Kuufuku would make a lot of sense lore wise but to me, I hear "ki" rather than "ku" on the first letter. I'm not surprised by people being confused on the forums. The echo and enunciation makes it very hard to understand, even to native ears. Also, mind letting me know which forums you went for these discussions?

I'm not sure the Xrd threads will still be up anymore though, it's like 4chan where threads are made and then they eventually get deleted.
I wonder if Bedman calls Answer "knowledgeable but useless" because like Bedman he has a vast knowledge and impeccable memory of people (Bedman states he'd planned to use his memory to revive the ones he's killed exactly the way they were) but unlike Bedman, he's nowhere near strong enough to affect the world around him as much as Bedman is able to.

So the Jack-O comment is most likely a reference to gameplay. But it could also be referencing Jack-Os child and adult personalities splitting the responsibilities to keep her functioning
7:15 iirc, in the GG lore, vampires are beings that live in a different dimension. In XX, you can see him coming out from some sort of portal in one of the round start animations, so maybe that's why he calls Slayer an outsider
I think the jacko line just references her use of minions rather than fighting on her own

When bedman goes over Faust It kinda sounds like he wants to be friends with Faust but knows it’s a horrible idea
Also, the Baiken remark might be “自演書くゼロ”/“A person whose written their part in the play from zero”, although this completely hard to tell due the pitch of the voice with the echo.
I can’t say for certain, but the part of Sin’s remark might have been “King Substitute/Deputy” or “キング副(ふく)”. It might be a reference to the story, that Bedman and Ariel might’ve wanted to replace Ky if he became too much of a threat.

If I’m correct, Bedman might be complimenting Baiken’s cultural identity. I’m hearing Shima (or Shina) Koketsu. Translates roughly to Island (or city) Consolidation. It’s a bit of a stretch but also spot on in a way. Island Consolidation can be interpreted as him referring to her as a perfect combination of all things Japanese and/or hardened by the trials of what she experienced ‘on the island’…

It sounds like you are calling SIN a keep-kun. Is that a bubble-like phrase? And so is Nothing of concern. The meaning seems a bit different from keep in English, I don't know much about the GG storyline, but is he there to keep something up?
What do you mean by bubble-like? Keep-kun usually means back-up boyfriend. Not sure how that ties in with his relationship with Bedman.

I meant to say that the terms "Nothing of concern" and "keep-kun" were coined during the bubble period.
I don't know anything about the relationship, I don't know the story, just that it sounded that way, so don't worry too much.
