Do not listen to anyone on Beer Bitchovocate, they're all a bunch of beginner beer drinkers. This beer is fantastic, and one thing I noticed about Japanese beers; and I don't know why, but they always pair so fucking well with snacks, like nuts, rice crackers etc. When you pair these, it's like you get shit faced (if you drink a lot,) but you don't wake up too bad because you're having the nutrients it pairs well with. I lived in Japan for a few years, and most of their beers; even the fucking malt liquor, is fucking fantastic. I almost never had a bad beer there.
Jay, I watch almost all your beer reviews. You are the Bomb. Always short ‘n sweet, length wise. Crikey, reviews over 8 minutes are just utter waffle, padding and repetitive bull dust. Not yours. You’re Knowledgeable, with a great memory and recall. Etc etc. My number one beer reviewer. Have a great day and beyond. You make my day, almost every day. Cheers and Salute from Cape Town.
I gave it a 4.01 on BA. Looking at the score today (05-28-23) the rating overall is 64. Come on. This beer is better than that. Thanks for the revisit!
This is a really good beer. I believe i got a Japan-brewed version, but whatever it was, was definitely far better than standard american lagers imo, actually toward German quality.
Wow, $11 for a 6 pack out there? I paid $12.99 for a 12 pack of cans today at the local Japanese market (Chicago burbs). Thanks for your review! This is my goto beer at Japanese restaurants.
I just paid 3.79 for a 22 oz bottle. Dont know if thats a good deal or not. I liked it and it was good but I I didnt love it enough to want to get a 6 pack of it.
Traveled to Golden, Colorado recently and got a chance to try Barmen from Coors and honestly it was far far superior to anything Coors makes… but it did have a slightly “wet dog” taste in the background that was odd.
Maybe if Anhueser Buch focused on their product instead of Woke politics, Michelob Lager would be more popular. Michelob Original Lager is a great beer, too bad.
Erlanger! I recall it! Nice review Jay. I've not had a Kiran Ichiban in ages. Don't see it here in Indiana. Cheers!
Cheers, back to you, Phodopus1!
I love that beer but when I got one at a shushi Joint last week i read anheuser busch on the bottle and was not surprised.
Yep. They're the contractor for this one.

I've always enjoyed it. Thanks for watching, Helgenx. I appreciate it.
Japanese drinking snacks are insane. So good like fr.
I always have this beer in the fridge one of my faves
I love it, but it's largely faded from the New Orleans area.
Appreciate how often you post reviews. Have a good one!
It's fun to do and no trouble, at all. You, too!
Mate u need to try the Suntory Premium Malt and Yebisu. Those are the top tier of Japanese Beer.
But, I have to be able to find them. Thanks for watching, Leoyu. I appreciate it!
I like this beer, but when I remember when it was 7.99 a six pack I don't get it very often now. Around here I've seen it for 12.99 a six pack now
Oh! No! I'd never pay that price! Too high!
You can tell its a well made beer by the head made by a perfect pour. Really like this beer. Thanks Ronald.
it's true, and you're welcome, John.
I had this beer many-many years ago in beautiful Sao Paulo! Cheers, Ronald!
It's a good one for a revisit, Gregory! Cheers, back to you!
Hey Ronald, have you found Busch light peach yet in your area? I would love to see a review of it.
No, I have not, dj22356, but I bet I will, soon.
I love this beer haven't had it in a while
It's time for a revisit!

Thanks so much, Steve! Well, I do try to do a good job with it. Cheers, back to you!
@@ronaldtheriot Jay is being modest. He's the king of beer reviews. His channel is like taking a college class on beer history.
@@distantandvague Thanks, Brando!
Good beer. Sometimes the local liquor store by me will sell this for $9.99 a 12-pack. Good review Jay.
That's a good price, Jean! Thanks!
I would like to try the Japanese version. This isn't too bad. Picked up a 6 pack for $10 here.
I'd like to someday do that, too.

I know. The scores are a farce.
I love this beer. Every now and then it doesn't hurt to pay a little extra for this one.
I agree!

DEFINITELY better than the typical American lager.

You're welcome, and thanks for watching, Angry Fishh. I appreciate it!
I like these, just wish they were a LITTLE cheaper and I would buy them a lot more.
Same story, here.

It's a so-so deal, I guess.
$12 a 6 pack is pricey but it's too good!
It's a wonderful beer! Thanks for watching, Josh Ruiz. I appreciate it!

That IS odd!
I like it although I thought it was imported; now I know
Yes, it's contract-brewed in America.
Maybe if Anhueser Buch focused on their product instead of Woke politics, Michelob Lager would be more popular.
Michelob Original Lager is a great beer, too bad.
Exactly. Yes, it IS too bad.
