The Sabarmati HSR Station is located in a railway yard between two Indian Railway stations of Sabarmati (SBI and SBT) and is in close vicinity to two Metro stations and a BRTS stop.
Sabarmati HSR being the terminal station of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor, NHSRCL has planned to develop it as a Multimodal Transport Hub in the region which will connect the HSR line to Indian Railways, Metro station and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, all located within a short walk for easy transfers.
To provide seamless connectivity and integration between the various transport modes around the HSR station, a Multimodal Transport Hub building has been planned on the East side of Sabarmati HSR station along with three foot overbridged (FOBs), fitted with travellators. These FOBs will connect Hub building with Sabarmati HSR station, both the Sabarmati Railway stations, Metro station and the BRTS stand.
A Multi modal Integration plan for Sabarmati HSR station was developed in consultation with all stakeholders and necessary interventions were proposed such as road widening, redesigning of road geometry and junctions, Table top pedestrian crossings etc.

Ugly building . Neither the structure of the building nor the choice of colors or the interiors or the external ground have anything appealing or unusual to be attractive. No design thought, innovation or any consideration to using natural light. Ground around building is barren- no trees or grass but terrace garden made ! Ridiculous

What can I say Master Rajan Singh, I am amazed. Better than world class. Bharat needs more multimodal transport hubs with modern architecture like this in Bharat. One day, in the near future I hope to ride the bullet train and metro train from Sabarmati Station. Excellent video presentation. Everybody please keep Bharat clean and tidy and remind each other not to litter. Lord Krishna bless Bharat and its citizens.

To cover whole platform under some modern structure (Like China did in Kenya) isn't economic.
On station, I expect best cleaning, 5***** Toilet, sanitation,
Waiting room, Luggage room, Dorm, hotel room, Quality Food, escalator for needy.
That Slum like shed on platform is least of concern for any passenger unless it's leaking in rain 🌧️.😅
We use platform for just boarding.
@@PlasmodiumV I think the question was do they look as proposed? I haven’t been there but looking at videos seems it aligns with the proposed design. However, if you don’t like the proposed design and color used that’s a separate thing.
