Honestly i feel like people didn’t like cam because they think things come to her “ easy “ just bc she was on bring it when that’s not the case. I think they forget that her first 2 seasons on the show she would break down and cry until she realized how truly talented she is, which got her the captain role. Now as far as her “ not dancing like a doll “ i think she adjusted to the style well, but like i said there’s a cam hate bandwagon because she has confidence that most people only dream to have.
Ppl didn’t like her when she became captain on dd4l and it’s sad how much hate she got when it became known she was trying out for SU because they thought all she could do was buck not even realizing her background before getting with Diana was in jazz and ballet

I loved seeing her lead and in her element! And that field show with DD4L we knew she was going to SU after that!! Her crab year she was fluid and that back row with her, Kaylon and Jada did not get the respect it deserved. Gabby being her mother trained her up right! Now against unpopular opinion, I hated the placement of each doll Micah’s year. When Neri got hurt and Cam moved up, it was a missed opportunity to rearrange the girls because that squad would have been killer had the arrangement been better. Now the true gag would be her coming back this season for a 5th rip and leading the girls in true doll fashion under this legendary leadership! She's ate down on SU Dolls but I always felt they should've allowed her to be so much more. Besides Jada & Neri, Cam was the only one I could see bringing the '17 Doll style back but with a lot more Doll mannerisms & way better fieldshows. With the right girls, her Doll squad would've been out of this world.

i rmb on bring it, every time she would get solos and scholarships and good opportunities for dance, ppl would always say “camryn always gets this” “i wanna see another girl have an opportunity” “oh it’s not fair to the other girls” when it wasn’t her fault at all lmao. they think everything she accomplished wasn’t fair bc they don’t wanna admit how talented she is. cam had that drive that not many ppl had. i rmb the episode when the girls performed in stands and went out for a scholarship, ppl were like “cam already has these scholarships, not fair to go out for other scholarships” like excuse her for not chilling with the bare minimum and collecting as many opportunities as she could bc when bring it ends, there’s no miss dianna to set her up with more opportunities. cam is a damn great dancer and worked so mf hard for everything she has gotten

i rmb on bring it, every time she would get solos and scholarships and good opportunities for dance, ppl would always say “camryn always gets this” “i wanna see another girl have an opportunity” “oh it’s not fair to the other girls” when it wasn’t her fault at all lmao. they think everything she accomplished wasn’t fair bc they don’t wanna admit how talented she is. cam had that drive that not many ppl had. i rmb the episode when the girls performed in stands and went out for a scholarship, ppl were like “cam already has these scholarships, not fair to go out for other scholarships” like excuse her for not chilling with the bare minimum and collecting as many opportunities as she could bc when bring it ends, there’s no miss dianna to set her up with more opportunities. cam is a damn great dancer and worked so mf hard for everything she has gotten
One thing fans know is when it comes to jazz and ballet cam is going kill every time 😌 she will buck u down to if she has to 🥳
