I seen all of the Whistler movies as a kid growing up in the 1940's. I lived in N.J. at the time didn't get the Whistler radio shows. They were popular on the west coast.

They are. Best part is... with modern technology, you can make your own radio show... well, I mean make an MP3 recording and put it online. All you need is a half-decent microphone, audacity, a 15 minute video to teach you how to use it, and sound effects (of which there are a bazillion of royalty-free ones online).
I plan on making one in the future, since I'm writing a film noiresque dieselpunk story, I might even create that radio show just to flesh out my world more. I got inspired to do it after listening to the Silver Shroud form Fallout 4, but I always have had some interest in OTR.

The only thing I would have objected to is the idea that being a foreign agent has something to do with speaking with a foreign accent. Not only does that result in misplaced suspicion, it relieves well-deserved suspicion.

The 'foreign accent' not being specific is what makes it timeless. Keeps the story relevant.

    OCTOBER 30/16
I really enjoy these old stories but you see, when I was a young boy I used to listen to these stories with my grandmother when I was a young boy on an old stand up to RCA radio.
But what is sad we live in this world today of bombs and people that are extremely hurtful to others.
and suicide bombers it's such a frightful thing will be at the center are kids at the school not knowing what tragedy could occur.
God help us all and we all should think about voting for the
