Were like two ducks on the water Eileen, it all looks so calm above, but their legs are going ten to the dozen underneath. Were not waving, were drowning.😄
Hi Trevor and Pat, lovely to see you both getting better. Keep the vlogs coming, you really cheer us all up. Take care love Chris and Dave from Yorkshire xxx
Good to see you looking much better and laughing .Our cat is similar she tries everything and grown up with dogs .Just shows how eating important healthy eating and exercise is. Elvis .He was very overweight as well .Food for thought .
Hi, you both sound so much better, or at least going in the right direction. Yes, houses can be a nightmare, every thing seems to want replacing at the same time. Your run of bad luck and illness will come to an end, in a positive way. Take care, we’ll see you tomorrow.
I look for your daily chat before I watch anything else so please keep going. I now live in Australia so it's interesting to see how things are now in the UK. The gov here said that the hospital A&E must aim for a 4 hr wait at the most. I don't know if they achieved that yet.
Hi Pauline. Thank you for being such a loyal viewer. There's no way for waiting times to get anywhere near that in Leeds . If you go to a&e here, you better be prepared for ten hours, but that knocks the pants off seeing a gp, it's years since I saw a gp as a result of contacting the surgery.
If you earn over a certain income here you will pay higher income tax if you don't take out private health insurance. This seems to work quite well as the health system then becomes partly privatised for those who can afford it which makes it fairly easy to get an appointment at the surgery for us who are less well off.
I’m sure like everyone else we are so happy to see you. Continue to get better. I see I missed one posting so Imwill watch it after this. The wait time for medical help in Canada is terrible. Take care.
"You are so happy to see us". How easy it is to fail to appreciate or even understand that Debbie. Could it be that my heart is so much harder than yours? If truth be known its harder than most, but you and many more of you that watch us on RUclips have softened it more than I could ever have hoped. Thank you.
Your Story Pat about the Cat Was Great and You seem to be alot Better than What You Were - You have Both Had A Terrible time - Your Chats Are Lovely and I Really Enjoy Them XX
Hi Pat &Trev. I remember working with a bloke and he said I’m off away in my caravan this weekend with the family, on his return Monday morning his face was bright red I said what happened to you , he said we had a water blockage in the sink so I went under the caravan to undo the pipes to clear it and his wife unknowingly poured boiling water down the sink straight into face . 😂 not a happy chappie. Anyway chin up and keep on soldiering on. 👍 Keith.
I have the same bug and it’s knocked me off my feet. I called 111 and got told I needed to be seen within the hour and to call my gp, I did and got a mouthful off the receptionist and still heard nothing back: went back online today and finally got an app tomorrow ….. absolutely ridiculous. If what I have is what you guys have had it’s terrible…. My hearing has been effected now the mucus is that bad. Glad to see you guys back x
Yes, are we failing to understand what is going on? Is there a perfectly understandable reason why that SEEMS to be the case. Our surgery exists, I know it does, but who for?
We keep watching to see whats going to happen next Trevor!! We all get these problems in life, especially when we get older. Its like comparing notes!!!! See you tomorrow, bye!!!
Have you tried cranberry juice and water Trevor, I say this because my eldest son used to suffer pee problems and the Dr at the hospital said give him a drink of cranberry juice and water every day for a week then one every couple of days and it will help a lot. They found out after tests my son had one adult size kidney and one normal size he was 10 years old. Xx
I am in Northamptonshire and we have the same issues cant see a dr.phone at eght in the morning number 42 it can take fifty minutes or more.hope you both feel better soon.
I have the NHS app and I have requested a repeat prescription for some tablets and it was approved. Also if I got to 4 in the queue I would hang on, can understand if it was a pay as go phone why you would hang up. Once I am in that queue I am staying there, I have waited over 40 minutes to speak to someone but at least I get to do this.
It sounds like you’re really committed to getting your prescription sorted! Waiting in line can be frustrating, but it’s great that you’re staying patient.
It's just life and you both take it on the chin but always come back laughing about one thing or another and cheer us all up, every time. We needed doctor last Saturday when shut dialed 111 gave information a doctor rung back in an hour sent photo of injury by e.mail antibiotics sent to chosen chemist. Quite proud of myself for actually doing that, not very technically savie.
At least you are competent enough to take a screenshot of a prescription and email it to someone. My mom was never able to do that, and if it wasn't for us, she would have been treated even worse than she was by the NHS. Last week, they posted a list 30 things the NHS will no longer treat. I might send them a list of 30 things I'll no longer pay VAT on. Nobody should have to get involved in a dick dance phoning different healthcare professionals to get stuff done. The NHS is knackered, and the majority of those who work in it are either incompetent or on the sick.......rant over......deep breathe.......and out again.......all the best
Hi there, great to see you both looking so much better. Stay safe in this terrible weather and don’t be going out xx
Appreciate it! We’re planning to hibernate like bears until the weather clears up! 🐻
Great to see you both looking brighter 😊
Thank you Tina.
Hi,Trevor and Pat you’re both looking and sounding much better and still able to tell us a story to make us smile. Take care .🤗🥰

Well we have all been slowly poisoned by the food industry for years Susan, but like Elvis and the 🐈 we all need a whisperer to put things right.
You are both sounding a lot better 👍👍👍. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
Tis an illusion Judy.

@@trevorpat-lifeontherun that’s an amazing way of describing owning your own house. xx

I bet if we did that the money would be siphoned off and spent on vanity projects. Call me a cynic. 😊
Oh Pat that made me laugh, just imagined an 18 stone cat 😫🤣🤣
Ye, just a mere technicality.😇

Ooh Ouch.
I once took the toilet cassette to the elsen to empty it and Pat went and had a pee in the toilet. 😁

Ye Karina, it has effected my right ear. I have never had a chest infection like this one, it's the pits.
@ it is - I have been wiped out since getting back to the UK 9 Days ago from Mexico. Need another holiday to get over this. Stay safe both xx
Oh Sorry Karina, but I had to laugh at that. ❤

Ah, the classic "getting older" club-where the membership comes with unexpected issues and plenty of laughs! See you at our next meeting Mary.
It’s same here in Ireland
Wow.
😂😂😂....a cat called Elvis, you both sound a bit more normal!😎👍
Were not quite there yet, but better.😁
Same here getting Dr ,,want you book on line ,,I tend to go there if I can and book one ,but probably be in couple weeks time,,
No online appointments before Dec 20th at our surgery
We have the same problem here in NewZealand withdoctors appoinment ive had to wait 5 weeksto see my doctor
Even in New Zealand!!
Trevor and Pat, will watch in sickness and in health⭐️💪❤️🍀🤞🫶
Until death us do part.😁

Thank you for sharing your experience! Cranberry juice can indeed be helpful for urinary health. It's great to hear that your son found some relief!

The GP system is totaly broken Irene. I can't even get the chemist to answer the phone now.

If only the real Elvis worked with Cat Man the end could have been very different.
Haha.

111 is the go to service now in my opinion Sandra. Don't get anywhere with the GP system.
Oh, and by the way, you did brilliant.
Very sad this day and age I am 71 and a warden looking after elderly doctor would visit them if I rang surgery that is why a&e are busy
Couldn't agree with you more Anne.
Why can’t the pharmacy call the doctor to renew the prescription? Ensure your doctor makes the prescription a years worth
That would be too easy.
we watch to see if you are more ill than us ha ha
Ha ha, thats funny, and probably very true.😄
