I can see throughout the test the GPU was steadly around 60 degree celcius, handling 4K gaming like a Champ! I thought about waiting a bit longer for the RTX 50 series to come out and update my RTX 3080 system all the way to 4K gaming. But just can't resist it anymore...

@@felixq4504 Yes! I eventually decided to buy it three months ago, along with a new 14700K to replace my old 10700K, and the experience was beyond amazing. As the video shows, this card is not only incredible in performance but also in temperature control. The price was a bit higher though ($850 before tax) as I chose the MSI Gaming X Slim model, which is slightly above the basic Ventus model. Can't say a steal but definitely a worthy purchase imo.

@@alexleonhappytraining474 Definitely a good purchase. The more premium models are already known to be more expensive, but within a reasonable price range it is a better purchase than a basic model. Pretty impressed that this card can do 4K well, even if it requires upscaling and frame generation.
Was considering of getting the 4070ti Super to upgrade from my 1080ti (but will mostly be playing in 1440p) but have noticed some 4080 cards (like PNY and Galax) being around the same price as they are in Australia, I'm thinking of getting that instead (even if I may have to upgrade from my 750w PSU).

Turn off ray traced shadows (in Cyberpunk) and you'll see a huge improvement without using DLSS, etc. In most games I've found over the many years that not caring (too much) about the quality of shadows while keeping everything else high is a good way to have things look good and get better performance.

    • @theivadim
      @theivadim  7 месяцев назад +1

Ideally, you need a 700W PSU. My PC is equipped with an 850W PSU just to have that extra breathing room. If you push the PSU too close to its limit then it'll heat up more and its fans will run faster and louder. You might get 650W to work with the 4070 Ti SUPER but I can't guaranteed it since I haven't tried. If the PC begins turning off randomly then you'll know you have a power supply issue🙂 The 11700F should be OK for now. Definitely upgrade the graphics card first. That'll give you the biggest performance uplift.

But Ryzen 5 7600X or i5 13600K/14600K will also get the job done well since your GPU will be working harder than the CPU in most cases when playing games in 4K resolution.

I don't have any personal experience with any of these cards. However, according to Hardware Unboxed the 4070 Ti SUPER GIGABYTE Gaming OC works well compared to MSI and ASUS alternatives. Here's what he had to say about it - ruclips.net/video/ePbKc6THvCM/видео.htmlsi=7faHVe1Frkcx2Ne9&t=1298
Furthermore, I don't know how helpful this info is but the same channel found that 4070 SUPER EAGLE performed badly and produced much more noise than one would expect from a 3-fan card. I know that it's not the Ti SUPER model but I'd look into it just in case the company uses the same cooler/design for these cards - ruclips.net/video/HT8UmPrQYvk/видео.htmlsi=P_CAGuR-fhgHb8g8&t=1183
I hope this helps. Let me know which card you end up buying. Enjoy it!🙂

@@theivadim thanks for the reply bro. in 4070 and 4070 super only gaming oc is good. rest eagle and winforce are badly built.
OTOH i hv seen 4070 ti super winforce and Gaming OC reviews. but eagle one is still missing. i wanted to see difference between their VRMs, mosfets and phase design. if im getting the same quality of gaming OC in an eagle model. i will buy that. let me knw if you get any article reviewing gigabyte eagle 4070 ti super. 😊

They might if AMD’s RX 7600 XT starts to steal too many customers away from NVIDIA. But there are no leaks indicating that NVIDIA is working on a 4060 SUPER just yet.

I think it is highly unlikely that we'll see that kind of prices again. At least not any time soon. There is just no competition that would drive the GPU prices down.

I am so disappointed, my 3080 does just as well as this card with the same settings in cp2077 (no path tracing) ultra settings and ray tracing and motion blur off. The low end drops are around mid to low 60s in the most demanding areas but average mid 80s to low 90s. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 8gb at 3840x2160 w/Ryzen7 5800x on a 60hz 4k hdr LG 27GL650f oh and Vsync off.

Thanks for the games suggestion!😊 I am actually thinking about using a capture card to record gameplay. I didn't like how much detail is gone when recording the screen with an iPhone camera. Would be nice to record with a big nice camera for much better quality but I can't afford it at the moment🙂 Capture card is a much more budget-friendly solution.

0:11 this will be a "pointless" video. no 4070 is made to do 4K. it MUST use ARTIFICIAL framing to do so. However, this is an excellent card and anyone should consider it if they not able to splash over $1K on a card but want decent performance.

I'm running a 7800X3D and a 4070 Ti Super and getting 60-70 fps native 4k in Starfield on Ultra in the same location that he is showing mid-40's. With power turned up under full load I run at around 2925 clock and a 305 watt power draw.

I agree. If we compare the 4070 Ti SUPER to other cards then it is not that impressive. It could do with higher specs. But I think NVIDIA got scared that it might cannibalise 4080 SUPER too much then. But with this level of performance I think many will decide to spend extra $200 on a 4080 SUPER.

Yeah... the lack of the latest DP port on the RTX 40 series cards is a strange choice. I think NVIDIA wants to use that to sell RTX 50 cards later this year and in 2025. That's when more monitors will arrive that utilise DP 2.1 to get the maximum Hz.
