Hello, thank you for the kind video! 🙂👍 I think, that more people would be interested in a rod with a lenghts of 11 ft than the 12 ft 6"! With a lenght of 10 ft you are loosing control in the fight with the fish and distance. But 12 ft can be a problem with transport. So, 11 ft can bei the nice mixture between 10 and 12 ft! 🤗😊Best regards and always tight lines! 🙂👍
13foot 2.1/2lb tc were the best carp rods i ever used. loved them so much i just bought a set of 3 vintage daiwa rods in same length and tc and they work magic. dont kid yourselves about todays rods, the blanks are all bought in bulk from china thats why you cant buy long rods in low test curves.
@@robinhooduk8255 correct lots of products nowadays are made abroad - to save money 💰 and in carp fishing the moderate priced tackle I.e rods reels etc are very efficient and do a great job no problems
Still using the Daiwa Infinity DF’s (which are awesome) but I’m soooooo tempted to change over to these. The only snag for me is the rings. I prefer ceramic rings throughout.
@@KordaTV I was referring to the Rods generally, I’m after the 12ft 4lb but many thanks for the reply. Please tell me you’re be doing bivvies at some point, I’d imagine that to be the carlsberg of bankside comfort.
The greens are where they’ll make their money! Given their knowledge and credible history they’re probably nice rods, but they need to stop pushing the heavy TC when most of their customers aren’t fishing big waters where 4lb rods are needed..
@@itschrisparry I have the 4lb rods I use them all the time I mainly got them for France but I find them fine to use all the time and they make any cast easier for sure
Maybe I’m totally naive, but I do trust that the Korda team set out to build something, did some R&D and came up with a specification which these rods were built to, as opposed to going to a trade show in China, buying a generic blank and pitting their stickers all over it… If I wanted 12’ or 12.5’ rods, I’d be looking at these for sure, quite how much benefit I’d get from them I’m not sure, but at least I’d feel like I was paying for something “real” as opposed to a load of marketing garbage!
Tried some greens a friend purchased. Flicked out a 3oz lead around 50-60 yards and could feel the blank bend right into the butt. Felt horrible and very unbalanced, tip felt stiffer than the mid section. Must of taken all of 5 minutes to design. Avoid minimas if you want to use braid as they grove the eyes.
..'These rods can almost do anything'... Bending is not one of 'em, looking at the recent video's. Buy the rods you need, and not the ones they make you think you need.
I love Korda terminal tackle but for rods you simply cannot beat Freespirit . Hi-Sive's, E class golds and CTX's . I'm sure Kaizen rods will have their fans but Freespirit rods have a proven track record . It would be a sh1t world if everyone had the same taste .
I laugh when I see comments like 'Danny's done so much for carp fishing he really cares etc etc - well he wants your cash and lots of it and he will keep caring 😂😂 remember guys you don't need all the kits rigs bells /whistles spend more time on your watercraft finding the fish and building your confidence and enjoying your time on the Bank good luck 👍
Danny Fairbrass has changed the dynamic of course fishing (along with several others). If you have a skill, why wouldn’t you utilise it! He deserves every penny he gets. He’s given more than enough back to the community. More than any other brand. Massive respect to Dan and wish him nothing but good health.
A quick Google search will show you that these are in stock in a large % of our Korda Stockist. These rods proved very popular and were out of stock for a short period. Not sure how this equates to “no loyalty to customers” but have a great day 👍
Oh course it’s marketing bot it’s also info on a product which is important ! They don’t need to advertise these rods they are flying out I had a nightmare trying to get some
Another one, korda is putting so much time and energy in content. Im happy a brand is doing so much effort. I bet you watch these videos to but you cant handle a bit of marketing?
There isnt very much different to a £100 rod to a £400 rod people really need to wake up on this. Way way over priced. Its just showing off when people buy very expensive gear oh look at me with my way over priced gear. I would prefer the new wolf rods my self
Korda keeps banging on about distance and how easy the rods are to cast. If you ain’t got your technique nailed, you ain’t casting any further than a bamboo stick. 😂
Such a beautiful stealth blank and guides THEN SOMEBODY CHOOSED THIS REAL SEATS OMG 😭😭😭😭
Daiwa make awsome rods that's why they make them for Korda ! I have the 3.5 platinums there lovely !

Super balanced, super sleek, amazing
These rods are really superb , best rods I’ve ever had ! Everything Korda claim about these rods is true 👌🏻
Thanks for the positive review Jon, we are glad you are enjoying them.
Can’t wait for these to be back in stock, amazing rods 😘
They are!

Getting 2 of them for my birthday
Really like my 10 footers excellent rods
I’ve always wondered have Korda caught the beast ?
They would if I could get hold of some been out of stock for weeks now
Next year 5lb test curve. The year after 6lb test curve.
Spod rods will be 10lbs TC before long. 😂😂
How about 9 or 10 footer in a soft curve for close work
Super balanced, Super sleek and Super expensive
I really thought about getting a set like these but went with the free sprint instead should have waited for these to come out
free spirit are better.
I'll never know ain't spending all that money again
Free spirit are class.
I’m thinking about getting the greens. Sorry but the platinum range is way out of mine and most peoples budget I’d suggest

Will you bringing out a scope style 9ft rod?
Buy scope 🤷🏼♂️
Your better off buying scopes, I have a set and they’re probably the best rods I’ve ever used
@@leepickup1842 ive had scopes for years buddy & yeah they are the nuts 👌
@@craigmiller2935 got me the 9ft 3lbs to go for a 2nd set to my 12fts and can cast scopes just as far as my Nash X series 12fts
They are nice but they are just way too expensive. You can get custom rods for less it’s shame
Where can I get custom rods for £130??
I've got a set of 12' fox x3's I can get to 125 yards with.
No waters I fish, do I need to go that far.
I stick with my 9ft sonik extractors 👍
A carp rod is a carp rod its the way you use it 😉
Why do the rods make such strange noises when I have a carp on them?

got myself 12ft6 green ones because I already own a set of platinums in 12ft, brilliant piece of kit! well done korda.
Why buy greens if you own the Platinums, stupid thing to do.
@Kralk.66 cause they wanted a longer rod, for when it's needed but didn't want to fork out for another set of platinums 🤷♂️
Thank you for the positive comments 🙌 hope you are enjoying and getting to use both sets 👍😊
@@danielmorris3446 exactly :)
How good are the greens? Would you say its worth spending a fair bit more for the platinum's over the greens or is it minimal? Thanks
Are these rods better than my free spirit hi-'S''s - would love to see a side by side test
Loads better!! I had hi s for years , they are lighter so much more accurate it’s unbelievable and play fish lovely
I sold my free spirits
..'These rods can almost do anything'...
Bending is not one of 'em, looking at the recent video's.
Buy the rods you need, and not the ones they make you think you need.
If you get the 4lb version you can even use it as a spod thus saving you more money, real multifunctional rod 👍🏻
..Sounds like fun playing fish.
I find the 4lb isn’t brute enough to chuck a large spomb more than 120 yards
I suppose my Daiwa DF rods won’t work now then?
They will be absolutely fine, if they won’t work it’s likely user error 👍
BURRRRRNNNNNNN 😂😂😂
4lb tc for a all round carp rod?
And here I am using an 8ft Ugly Stik for Carp. 😆
Well said Steven 😅
All mass produced Chinese kit
Then why are you here making so many hate comments.

Kaizen means continuous improvement nothing is perfect and can be improved on again and again
