We, in Telugu states, try to visit Tirumala Temple for every significant event in our life, like if a baby is born, after marriage, etc., sometimes we even have solemn vows called "Mokku" to visit back if something which we have prayed for happens. Generally, it is a very busy temple and last month was the busiest time for "Darshan". People had to wait in line for nearly 24+ hrs to enter the temple and to just look at him for a few seconds. You already know the Yugas in our Hindu culture right? So Lord Venkateswara Swamy is considered the "Kaliyuga Daivam" or "God of Kaliyuga". My mother had the vow years back to visit, I took her last year. Extremely happy that I could fulfill her vow for Tirumala. 🤗❤

The clarified butter “ghee” used in “Laddoo” making in Tirupati is derived from A2 milk of Desi cows known as Zebu or Bos Indicus. We have more than 40 varieties of these Desi cows in India which are getting extinct or fast dwindling. The Tirupati Devasthanam was maintaining about 200“Punganur Cattle” cows out of about 500 odd cows in existence. They are very different from Holstein Friesian dairy cattle. The Ghee of this cow has a distinct and unique flavor that lingers long on the palate. This is the singular specialty of these Laddoos.

Yes i have been there several times.when we get laddus ,we always share it with our friends and neighbours.it is" prasadam" .not just a sweet! Okay! Very interesting to narrate my experience.first time when i went ( in the 70s) the arrangement s were not so good.and had to wait for hours and hours in the line. I was soooo tired and was in front of the deity some pushed me and I was very upset .i told my mother that i will not come again to this temple.but after several years i had to accompany my teenage nephews .( They had made some vow!!!! probably to get good marks 😄) again we stood in the line for about 7 hours and i was not so enthusiastic about the darshan.But,But...you won't believe it.when I came in front of the deity ,for a second i saw the face.that moment I felt some interesting feeling , very powerful.. can't explain or express that moment.this time also someone pushed me. But I wasn't annoyed.i thought " to get this blissful darshan what if I have to stand in line for a few hours!!!!!!

When I was a kid I used to carry in my mind lot of wishes throughout until we entered inside the Golden Gate which is known as Aananda Nilayam and from there everything goes away from the mind and the only one ambition in the mind is to see the deity as long as I can. And this happens with almost everyone visiting Tirumala. After the same thing happened for 3-4 times I stopped asking for wishes. And started visiting Tirumala only to have darshan, for that glimpse for few seconds after hours of long wait in queue lines. My longest wait in the queue was 26 hours and I feel no matter how long wait it is but it's worth it. Another thing I observed is we are totally fine until the darshan. Immediately after the darshan when we step outside the Aananda Nilayam we start feeling all our normal bodily feelings like hunger, legs start hurting severely as we would have walked all across the seven hills to reach Tirumala.
And now it feels like I've got some connection with the lord, as a Devotee said @ 18:00. If I don't visit Tirumala for long time it feels like I've been away from my loved ones for quite a long time.
THERE IS SOME MAGIC IN THE AIR OF TIRUMALA.

Once you go to Tirupati temple you will get 8ladoos as your prasadam if you walk the steps of tirupati temple 👈
Also fun fact the food is a donation there comes from farmers of different states or district of that state 👈
Also fun fact people go for seva as self or ( volunteer service) to people who come for darshan 👈 they actually help people who comes inside temple by serving food , etc ...
Fun fact in south indian families is that if a person from a family goes to Tirupati temple and comes home aft darshan if he or she doesn't give 1 ladoo or a ladoo then they feel it's offence or insulted 👈 so Prasad is given or shared to neighbour families or relatives 👈🤗
Just helping for you to get to know things of Indian culture 👈

If you observe carefully, Many devotees are having a Marking on Forehead with Three Vertical Lines(Two White Lines and One red/yellow line in between). That is known as "Oordhva Pundra". It's kind of Tilak, it shows that devotee is surrendered to Lord Vishnu. The Two White Vertical lines represent two feets of Lord Naaraayana and middle Red/yellow Line represents Goddess Lakshmi.
However, this marking Changes according to different sects and even sub-sects within a Sect.
    For eg.
A Shaivite would generally have "Three Horizontal White Lines" on forehead known as "Tripundra" as in 8:20
This guy is having a Shaivite Tilak i.e. Tripundra
    Vaishnav Tilak are
    For eg.
0:36 (Thenkalai Subsect ) and 4:25 (Vadakalai Sub sec of Sri Vaishnavism )

I remember when I was a kid we used to set aside some money every day as collection called MUDUPU to use it for the expenses to visit Tirumala once in a year as we couldn't have enough money at a time for all the expenses. From there it's been around 18-19 years and now I visit Tirumala 3-4 times a year whenever I wish to. If i have to correct myself, there is a saying, "One doesn't visit Tirumala when he/she wants to see the lord but when the lord wants to see him/her" in that way its not me who is wishing to go to Tirumala to see him but the lord's wish.

From Isha Yoga centre, coimbatore to Tirumala is 500 kms. 9 hours journey by road. Wish you all the best. Best recommended is if you can climb the hill from Alipiri foothill . That will add another 3 hours if you decide to go by walk .
