Reminds me a bit of All The Kings Men, but with a randomized board. The different way of winning means it won't have the end game problem of ATKM though.
Forgot to mention that the website has also 6 new play variants
Glad that this one is more available in the U.S. now!
I'm kind of weak at chess, but learning. This looks like a great pnp just to have a variant around! I already have my portable chess board so time to get to work!
The game looks fun but that box looks way too big for the game it contains. I'd snatch it up if it didn't take up so much real estate on my shelf. Maybe a travel edition? Get Gigamic on board.
Still don't see this to purchase anywhere...has anyone been able to find it?
A new printing is up for pre-order on GameNerdz

Can't hold a candle to "Onitama", a superior design in all respects (and I think even Zee would agree).
I can't find the game on Amazon or coolstuffinc....hmmm...

I feel like all abstract game reviews and playthroughs need to be accompanied by new age music. The kind of stuff you'd hear in meditation videos.
Thai Chess is best Chess.
Because chess is not good enough in being, well, chess :))))
