Hi Simon's Cat, I just wanted to say that I am a big fan. One of my teachers showed my class this channel in 8th grade (about 10 years ago). At the time, I didn't know how significant it would be for me. This was when your shows were black and white and pretty much a one man production. Since becoming a cat mom, they are three times as loved. They bring me so much joy, especially now that I am at my lowest. Thank you for all the laughs 🩷

Our 2 Bengal cats got 3 kittens and one of the kittens got the habit of drinking by dunking his brothers head under the running water in the kitchen sink and then wash of the water from his brothers face... But one day he tried the same trick on his mother and she was NOT happy at all about that :) After the beating his mom gave him he stopped drinking water that way.

18 years is a good long life for a cat, but by no means is it long enough. Treasure every moment you get to spend with your Furbaby, it won't come again. Even when it is time for them to cross the bridge, they still won't be gone. They'll be just out of your field of vision and flit away like a candle flame blowing out when you look. He's a 12 year old ginger tabby weighing nearly 21 pounds. He's been harness trained since he was 3 months old and we go on walks everyday. He also takes a shower each time he follows me to the toilet. He'll stand under the shower while I turn it on to drip. He's a weirdo, but aren't they all? It's a defining characteristic of feline kind.

Really, 5 min later this new video popped up! You cheered me up and I am smiling again. 😊 David was told he might have cancer, but he is having a test redone in Sept . David is being brave. It's just tough to wait.
Sorry to hear about the possibility of David having cancer. Obviously waiting must be absolute torture for you both. Hopefully it won't be cancer, but if it is, I'm hoping that it's been caught early and David can be successfully treated, with remission just over the horizon. I used to watch this when i was a little kid, I always named it the white cat cartoon and i loved it! I cant belive these animations still go and don't stop!
So funny because I can identify with Simon's Cat's antics. No earlobe sucking, but my cat will rest his 12 pounds on my chest to wake me to prepare his breakfast. I ignore him. His next move is to paw my lips with varying degrees of claw sticks. I laugh, look him in the eye (It's 4:30 am) and say, NO! He finally settles, still on my chest and goes to sleep. Took me awhile to retrain him just by ignoring and a firm NO!

watched this last night and really enjoyed it. however, our dog NEVER cares about the tv - doesn't matter if it's dogs, squirrels, birds, lizards, food, etc, it's like he just doesn't see the tv. while we were watching last night, at 1:27 we noticed that he was very interested in the video. he sat on the couch with us, ears sort of half-up and head tilting left and right while he watched the cat and bird. :)
I am a widower (I just turned 52). My wife left me a cat. He has a bed at the foot of my bed. I swear he was dead to the world asleep on his bed (which is just a towel). I noticed his food bowl was a little low, so I grabbed him a cup of dry food to place in the bowl. He went from crashed out asleep to wide awake and standing right next to his food bowl before I could walk the six steps from the Costco size bag of dry food to his bowl. How did he do that?

My cat gets all excited like this when I'm preparing his food and when I finally put it on the floor for him, he smells it and walks away lol! Then a few hours later he comes back to eat 🤷♀️.
Try to give him different types of cat food. And try different flavours please! Cats have preferences - just like humans-and most cat foods are not of good quality ingredients 😿 Your cat eats it hours later because he needs to eat something. But he doesn't like it probably 😿
My second cat, Taco, just loved pepperoni and pizza crust. And when I ate corn on the cob, I was on one side he was on the other and we ate together. My two now, I share my baked chicken with them after I eat the skin. They love when I put out a cup of ice water and love the ice.
Cats and owls😂. I like how at the end, the cat is stretching and the owl glances at the cat's bum, then looks at the audience with a knowing wink 😉....You know something is up😅😊
I remember I talked with my dad about cat food siliness. There are always new flavours coming out, like I was casserole once. The main ones still generally offer thing like chicken or beef, but my cats don't seem to care they just want to be fed. Clearly we just try to make it sound more palatable to us instead of the things they might like. Surely cats would prefer rat, when was the last time you saw one take down a cow.

My cat never get excited to see food. She is picky too. So my cat won’t jump to me for food like in this cartoon.
