Played this weekend with my family (2 teenagers 2 parents) and it was really a great time. It was the first game we've gotten all the way through without a fight breaking out (some of us are a teeny bit competitive) in a loooong time. The cooperative nature of the game had us strategizing how to allocate resources to benefit the other players but also get each of us the most prestige points. 5 stars for sure!

Interesting. It seems like a Economics game, but based on Gift Economics instead of capitalism.

I love playing TT RPGs, and I very much enjoy the Coyote and Crow RPG. I bought this Coyotes game to give to my boardgame-geek friend.

Played a 6 player game on Tuesday evening. One of us Overstreched on Turn 1, so we all became very risk-averse and sailed through the remaining turns with no problem. We think that we should have been trying harder to become the chief, have to balance our desire for leadership with communal needs more. So decided to teach the game differently next time to make that more of the focus. Or maybe we just got lucky or with 6 players, it's just too easy to meet all needs. Though this did make the point well, to the designer's credit.

    Sounds more tedious than fun

We found that there's a lot of interesting decision making to be had in competing for rank, and when to push versus storing resources. It's not going to be for everyone but if you approach it as a competitive semi-cooperative rather than just a semi co-op it is a lot of fun.
