The long pillow case is for what was called a bolster pillow. They were used in front of your regular pillows to dress up your bed. The pillow was usually feather filled and handmade with ticking fabric.
My mum always had a bolster pillow at the back and then ordinary pillow on top.
My sis made her pillow and pillow case and called it a body pillow. Not sure if that was the actual name of them.
Jeffery, both my daughters had long pillows when they were pregnant and needed long pillowcases so I made them. There is a need for long ones and they are hard to find.
Or it would be great for body pillows which pregnant women use for comfort.

You are laugh out loud funny, that's the main reason I like your videos. I'm 73 and a grandmother of 8 and I would love to shop with you. I know you'd be all about that! You're just so silly!!!! I loved I Dream of Jeannie! If you get the channels MeTv and Decades they have all the great old shows. Like you mentioned it's nest to look at the decor pieces. The Dick VanDyke show has great decor in the background!

House hippos are supposedly “a thing” I’m not sure if your viewers are looking for them but apparently it’s a craze. I think I heard it started because of a 80s commercial that had the “rare and shy” house hippo.
So now when people are thrifting they are looking for hippos🤷🏻♀️ I mean I’m not looking for a house hippo but they are all over the thrifting boards.

White Stag was/is a casual woman’s clothing line. I babysat for a family in the 60s whose father was a sales rep for the company. Occasionally, I would receive clothing samples to wear. Didn’t know they sold purses.

From the 70's, it was popular when I was a child. They played a multi cultural ad on tv with people holding hands.

Fun video! Interesting stuff! The perfume bottles are pretty but not sure they are that old. I had a collection similar to them about 10 years ago. Also wish you would have picked up the small dishes with mid century looking ladies on them. They were in front of the green cat you were considering.

I think the giant pillowcase was to put two pillows in it, then lay it across the bed. Not very practical, IMO. I would buy it, and cut it into two separate cases.

The perfume bottles are probably from Egypt - they were really popular in the 80s and 90s. And the ceramic horse is a reproduction of a Tang Dynasty horse from China. The doll is probably one of the Arco “Dolls of the World” from the 60s.
