Hi Sue, always a pleasure watching your videos 😊❤️ your channel is a big favourite of mine. Great little exploration and loved seeing inside of the chapel too, that was very nice 😊 I gave a little thought to Bri for you when you lit that candle ❤️
Wow I’m touched to hear how much you enjoy the channel because I always enjoy following yours! Thanks for the thought to Bri, I’m a big believer in the power of thought ❤️😊👍🏻
Good morning Sue another great video and what a fantastic house. I will say this again your editing is the best and so is all your videos really enjoy watching them. Can't wait for the next one. Take care from Jane x
Good morning Jane how are you doing? I hope all’s ok. Thanks for the positive comments, they’re appreciated. Looking forward to working on the next video, it was an interesting experience! Take care x
Abbotsford is an amazing house. He must have been seriously wealthy. An amazing setting too. I do love when a Robin comes to visit as well. Brilliant vlog Sue thank you.
Hi Alan hope you’re good. It’s an incredible place to explore and experience. I also feel quite blessed when a Robin visits. This one flew right in front of my feet like it wanted attention 😊
The Walter Scott house looked very interesting and I loved the lighting of a candle for Bri. I do the same whenever I visit a church. Can’t wait to see how you get on next time sleeping in your down jacket.
Hi Sue soggy quiche and soggy clothes I guess with all of the rain !Abbotsford House looked lovely but I couldn't eat black pudding and haggis hehe😃 The woodland walk looked nice and so did the walled garden and it was so good that you got to spend time in the private Chapel and light a candle for Bri then when you got to the campsite the weather looked bad but you had it nice and cosy in the van :) Enjoyed this Next weeks one looks interesting 😃 ~ Anna
Fancy having a special building just to store your Scrabble and Monopoly. Well posh that😁 Lovely video Sue with lots of that there history that we like. Looks a grand place to visit.xx
Hi Sue, sorry we are a little late to this, just watched on the big screen with a cuppa. Great use of a bad weather day. That black pudding roll looked delicious. Or how cute was that Robin! Great tour and information on the history, nice he died in the bay window with his favourite view. The chapel was stunning and loved you lit a candle for Bri! 😢 really enjoyed this day out with you! Oo your next one looks 🥶 look forward to it! Have a great week, stay warm….if you can 👍
Thanks guys. The next is more van lifey and an experience I won’t forget. We live and learn 😂. Thanks for watching. I have some catching up to do too. Take care both ❤️
Thanks for the tour of Abbotsford. It looks very interesting so will definitely try and get there next time we visit that area. You are very brave camping in that cold weather 🥶 Look forward to the next episode 🙂🚐 x
Looks a lovely place and the gardens looked very peaceful - never been to Abbotsford, thank you for sharing as somewhere else for the list when we are next in the area 😀 All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Had me at the Black Pudding Roll. Yes please! Reasonable price for parking and nice to know that the visitor centre and cafe is free to enter! 👍 we always seem to have a Robin guide us on our travels! The weather didn’t seem to bad by Scottish standards, well done on filming inside, the footage came out well. Great info about the dining room, can see why he would pick that spot. Beautiful chapel and you had the entire place to yourself! How lovely ❤ nothing better than a good rad on a rainy night! 👍
@@GENerationXplorers Maybe so. Hope so. Im learning to go with feelings over things like that more and more and not the so-called ‘logic’ we’ve grown up with. Otherwise how would they ever connect with us if we can’t listen? Take care ❤️ 🤗
@@CamperVanya i think its best. Coincidentally in this weeks video ive lit candles for my Dad and recently departed cat, something id never have done before yet felt very emotional about, and thats before i saw you lighting one for Bri ♥️
Nice one Sue. That Haggis and Black Pudding bap would do for us 👍👍👍 Abbotsford looks a beautiful place - almost medieval inside and a very evocative place And a beautiful chapel to be able to be on your own and reflect. And you survived Claudia but looks like the next night was a parky one 🥶🥶🥶🥶 Stay safe and have a good week
That was astounding to see! The architecture was incredible. What beautiful landscape and scenery. Your camping sites are super nice. The ones here are all in forests it seems on uneven ground. ❤
Abbotsford is a stunning house, great to explore. This campsite was part of the Caravan & Motorhome Club. All their sites are similar layout and excellent facilities. You tend to know what you’re getting which is sometimes just what you want. Take care 😊👍🏻
Brilliant video. Interesting place to visit, so nice and quiet out of season. That roll looked absolutely delicious 😋 The Scottish Borders is a wonderful place to explore. Keep up the wonderful adventures. Safe Travels
I feel cold! 🥶 The house was amazing, right up my street. The website says 'Pay once, visit all year! We lived in the Highlands and had snow the first week in May. Ugh! Another great vlog x
Thanks for showing us around the house - it looked really interesting. The gardens too. I am sure that on a warmer, more summery day they'd be spectatcular, but of course there'd be maybe too many folk about to film as much as you did. I think you have excellent taste in breakfast foods - the fried egg with brown sauce was especially triggering for me! 😁

Another fantastic video, Sue, thank you. I recommend a Kampa Diddy electric fan heater from Just Kampers (other retailers are available). This product had been recommended for use in a camper van when on EHU and you want to save diesel and limit the use of the diesel heating. I will be using this when we camp in February. I look forward to your winter camping tips in your next VLOG. xx
