The pitches with the hedges making it private is cool, wow £20 that’s really reasonable, great set up to come back to after your explore of the town! Looked a lovely walk into the town very picturesque and some great history, nice to see bookshops still thriving! Fish and chips looked nice and how lovely did Wendy look ❤ where’s the sunshine? Oh no egg on your face and jumper 🤣 wow great shots of the bird! Oh no a realignment needed of your canopy but the only spanner in the van?? 😂 🔧 farm shop looked nice! Fluffy hens! Great choices in the shop looks a great one you got some very delicious treats! Looking forward to your next one and further ones this is going to be a fabulous series! Hari OM Another childhood memory sparked with this visit, Sue... My father had a field office in Burford at one point and I recall that amazing high street! Lovely town that I stayed in for two nights at age ten and have never forgotten. That campsite looks wonderful - and I hope that canopy was properly sorted... YAM xx

We have been to Wysdom and thought the same as you its perfect just like a country garden. Didn't know about the farm shop though so will have to return. lol. Another great vlog.
Good to see you on your travels again and what a beautiful site. Bur Ford is very pretty but busy. The first time we went we found Sheep Street which is off on the right as you climb up the hill. The offices of The Countryman magazine used to be there and the little garden at the back was open to anyone for free. One of those serendipitous (is that a word? 😂) finds. Next your off to another favourite village - Bibury 💕

We haven't yet stayed on a "no facilities" campsite, but I expect in order to get the perfect location, we will need to pluck up the courage to prime the Portaloo 🤣I'm ok with a flannel and a bowl of hot water in place of a shower 🚿. I never put the awning out in the wind but wonder whether a gust in the night may have caused the movement now … Does Slaw recommend that I use them at all times then? 🤔 I’m all for taking his advice on that. Ooh I love the name silkie bantams and they were cute (but “hens in heels” worked better as an expression 🤣). Thanks for watching xx

We’ve been home 3 weeks, my husband had to visit his father in London and now he’s home I’m heading to London and Brighton next week to see my friends. Then when I get home we’re heading to either Northumberland or North Yorkshire in the van. Then we’re back to Norfolk and Suffolk In September. Time just flies! We need more weeks in the year! 🤔🤣🤣
Hiya Sue, I know you were pushed for time in Burford, but did you get down to the river? There's a great car park tucked away at the back of Burford by the river, and it's free if I remember rightly. Me and "Kermit" spent a lovely day there back in April. 🐸
That sounds ideal for a day out there. I just parked on site and took the bike out. I did walk right down to the bottom by the bridge. Such a lovely and lively high street.

Haha I hadn’t planned on being away so long. I always imagine Bri wearing a big grin watching what I get up to in that van especially when anything goes wrong, I see him doing the face palm thing 😂. Nice video, a few of those places are fairly local to where I live. Have to say, I was horrified to see your Halfords so called bike technician trying to squirt puncture sealant into your inner tube. If they can't even fix a puncture in a tubed tyre what are they doing anywhere near any customer's bikes!!! I bet they charged you for a new tube and the sealant they used and I hope they cleaned out the inside of your tyre as well. I would not let any Halfords so-called technician anywhere near any of my bikes! I do know that there are ladies only courses available to learn things like this, maybe worth looking into when you get home?
I honestly wouldn’t know a good technician from a bad one but he did fix the problem and it has stayed fixed. You are so right though, I need to skill up on this stuff as I was never involved with bike maintenance before. Bri did all of that. Must prepare better 👍🏻 Thanks for watching 😊
Hi Chris. I don’t think I worded it well. There definitely are facilities included: EHU, water, Elsan disposal & grey waste disposal (I list them in the vlog) but no toilet/showers. All in all I thought it a reasonable price for a one-nighter given the privacy & size of the pitches, beautifully kept grounds and site location. My stop before this had been at a C&MC site which was £33 a night. OK it had toilets/showers but to me that was steep for a member. It wasn’t half as pretty or peaceful either. Current prices have got me questioning my 2 club membership renewals and I haven’t renewed my C&CC this year.
Visited a few years ago great spot for walking into Burford and visiting other places.They had toilets and a showers at the time in the small building. Glad you enjoyed

Nice video, a few of those places are fairly local to where I live. Have to say, I was horrified to see your Halfords so called bike technician trying to squirt puncture sealant into your inner tube. If they can't even fix a puncture in a tubed tyre what are they doing anywhere near any customer's bikes!!! I bet they charged you for a new tube and the sealant they used and I hope they cleaned out the inside of your tyre as well. I would not let any Halfords so-called technician anywhere near any of my bikes!
I do know that there are ladies only courses available to learn things like this, maybe worth looking into when you get home?
I honestly wouldn’t know a good technician from a bad one but he did fix the problem and it has stayed fixed. You are so right though, I need to skill up on this stuff as I was never involved with bike maintenance before. Bri did all of that. Must prepare better 👍🏻 Thanks for watching 😊

Hi Chris. I don’t think I worded it well. There definitely are facilities included: EHU, water, Elsan disposal & grey waste disposal (I list them in the vlog) but no toilet/showers. All in all I thought it a reasonable price for a one-nighter given the privacy & size of the pitches, beautifully kept grounds and site location. My stop before this had been at a C&MC site which was £33 a night. OK it had toilets/showers but to me that was steep for a member. It wasn’t half as pretty or peaceful either. Current prices have got me questioning my 2 club membership renewals and I haven’t renewed my C&CC this year.

Visited a few years ago great spot for walking into Burford and visiting other places.They had toilets and a showers at the time in the small building.
