First of all, I am not a particular brand fan, I just love to make the most out of my money. That being said, I see so many creators saying i9 is for gaming, and I disagree. I7 is for gaming and the 7800x3d. If you are spending 600usd on a cpu for less or similar performance with a 350usd one, you are doing something wrong. I9 for creativity workloads that combine gaming is amazing and a legitimate choice along the 13th gen equivalent and the 7950x. too power hungry for little to no improvement even over 12th gen. End of product life, meaning you have no future upgrade paths. AMD 7800X3D is a great choice for gamers, as your mobo will be supported for almost 4 years in AM5, which means towarrds the end of AM5, you could get their final x3d cpu for a massive boost.
When buying ram it really does matter to consider what you're using your computer for. If you're just gaming it depends on what resolution you game in like 1440p to 4k in some games almost uses 32gigs of system memory so also depending on the game or games you will play it might actually make sense to get 64gigs of ram. If you do video editing, blender renders and all that 64gigs would probably be standard?
