I always read the lyrics "when you look in the mirror are u even there?" as like... the whole myth that vampires can't see their reflection which is a symbol for being evil and such. so that line I always read as calling out the other person for how they treat people. also, with the vampire myth parallel, the rest of the song talks about being pushed and like... legit the relationship being alluded to sounds absolutely draining, like the other person is quite literally a vampire, just feeding off of the narrator and such. idk, those are just my thoughts, and that line has always stuck out to me haha
