The only guys that know that are the players/coaches arguing and the ump himself. Does that make sense?
@@deew_knird_reeb_ekomS it makes sense, it’s just that often times umpires go on some kind of power trip. Umpires in baseball are known to do this so I’m just more likely to think they were the ones overboard by ejecting these players who in my eyes seemed to just be arguing balls and strikes. I’m I 100% sure he was just arguing balls and strikes, no but it just seems more likely then him saying something personal to the umpire.
Want to see pitchers and catchers start pulling Longest Yard shit with these umps. Miss a pitch on purpose and let it drill the ump
First of all, bring on the robo-ump behind the plate. These geezers are so inconsistent, it’s not even funny.
Those "geezers" have a lot more balls than any of us in the youtube comments section.
@@deew_knird_reeb_ekomS
I’m sure you have your reasons for saying so, but it still doesn’t change the fact that umpires behind the plate are chronically inconsistent. It has nothing to do with “balls”, it has to do with human fallibility.
Holy Shit Joe West and Angel Hernandez on the same crew
These ejections weren’t for no reason. There are a lot of rules in baseball that people don’t know. So if it seems like the guy just said it was outside or something and he got ejected he probably said something rude or made a snarky comment. (not saying some calls aren’t bad)
Quite a few equipment violations mixed in there too
Unpopular opinion, but I don't think the A.J. Burnett ejection was entirely unjustified. The context was that Burnett had been unhappy with a previous call near the same area, and was basically saying "oh, so you wanna call that one a ball when the last one was a strike?" Showing up the umpire like that is likely to get you ejected, it's just not a wise thing to do. I think the umpire's reaction was a bit extreme, but I also think he had the right to throw Burnett out.
Some of the umpires have made the game all about themselves. The teams should refuse to play. Take the forfeit if necessary. MLB needs to rein in these bad umpires.
What kinda baseball are you proposing we play?
@@deew_knird_reeb_ekomS baseball where the umpires don't get into the middle of the game, where they don't make the game about themselves, baseball where the players play the game and the referees don't direct the game to a certain outcome. Get rid of the bad umpires. There are plenty who don't blow calls or have excessive bad calls. We know who the umpires are that continually make bad calls or who are thin skinned, touchy and temperamental. Those are the ones we need out of the game.
"I don't like or agree with the reason" isn't the same as "no reason".
First one: Catcher should've went too -- more of a cause to toss him than the pitcher.
Second one: That was a Fuck You -- and when the catcher called him on it (in whatever form he actually did), gone.
Third one: Only problem I have with this one is toss him to his face. It's clear Balkin' Bob wanted to do it, so just do it and be done with it.
Fourth one: Joe West should've thrown Buehrle after the first balk, because it was clear he was gonna get on him til he tossed him.
Fifth one: That's the "mound visit to argue balls and strikes". To me, that should be the pitcher gone too, as an administrative point.
Sixth one: He literally pointed right where that pitch was -- you point, you gone. That simple, same as for batters!
Seventh one: This is why Bryce Harper ain't. worth. shit. Serious intensity problem and umpire problem.
Eighth one: Same kind of play with Harper.
Last one: Arguing balls and strikes.
Nice video. Maybe TWO of them qualified?
Imagine, a pitcher being ejected seemingly for simply committing a balk. What's this world coming to, anyway?
I think it was for tossing his glove in reaction to the call.
He was tossed for an equipment violation. That's a fine at the very least (and all three guys involved were fined for this incident), if not an ejection. It's umpire discretion.
Umpires are the main reason I don’t watch baseball.
No one watches what you do either.
They dont even need umps
these are all old but appreciate your effort
We need to just get rid of Umps, there's no accountability.
Players need to be accountable too.
You should include Brett Gardner getting thrown out for hitting his bat on the dugout roof
That's an equipment violation. You can't do that.
Two of the pitching calls in my opinion were borderline pitches. I think he made the right call of course would have said the samething for the other call because looked close.
I'm sure that most of these umpires got raises for these calls instead of getting at least demoted.
They can make more money the accurate they are
Let’s be clear most of these people were thrown out for a reason. It may have not been good ones but it was for a reason. I also hate Bob Davidson I was so happy to hear he retired.
Oh, there's ALWAYS a reason...
I disagree about the Harper throwing his helmet one. A player shouldn't do that, it's very dangerous.
Some umpires need head-butted to the ground
Such a dramatic gesture... 🙄
I just wonder why we recruit our umpires from senior homes.
So we don’t have to pay them as much social security
Umps need to grow some thicker skin
Or maybe realize that there's still a game to play, and just let it go when an ump makes a bad call. That shit happens. Easier said than done sure but just some food for thought
These umpires need their addresses dropped in the comments
There are so many these videos, umps need to go, or they need to be more publicly held accountable for their actions.
Bunch of overly sensitive babies the umpires are. Ridiculous.
He needs a rest 😂
Daniel had no reason to throw out the catcher
He should have thrown out the catcher as well
thee umpire need fine and miss games for bs calls
This is because the league let's blind Karens be umpires. The Karen Union is too strong.
The only "Karen ump" ejections I saw in this video was Joe West baiting Mark Buerhle into tossing his glove. The rest were clear "arguing balls and strikes" or equipment violations.
We should replace all these clown with robots. They’ve been ruining the game for far too long.
How about you go out there and umpire a game?
Joe West and Angel Hernandez really need to go
1:59 The White Sox announcers are the most biased announcers in the MLB in and this proves it and I thought it was just Hawk before he retired
Not gonna lie, I loved the passion of that broadcasting crew.
The announcers employed by the team and heard by the fans of that team are biased toward that team?!?!? Oh lawd!

Suspension for making contact with ump
Fine and suspension.
MLB needs to reign in these umpires and take away their God complex. Make an example of hernandez since he's the worst offender.
How exactly are they supposed to do that?
@@deew_knird_reeb_ekomS making solid justification of ejections being one step. Saying anything to an ump is auto eject nowadays. "Making a move to 2nd base" is up to umpire discretion and vague. Ejections need to be justified and reversible by review.
@@heyitstoki And how exactly do you propose they do this? They're still figuring out replay review.
Don't get me wrong dude, I agree with you 100% but it's a little tougher to execute in practice it seems like
@@deew_knird_reeb_ekomS oh I know it's going to be really hard to fix the issue but it's becoming a joke watching guys like hernandez have a hissy fit when someone questions him.
That last pitch was low.
Nothin you can do to Union employees. Doesn't matter how terrible they are.
often wonder if the umps get paid extra for ejections since some of these are stupid. ohter umpires ought to be allowed to step in and tell the guy to calm down and reverse it. or add a rule to appeals to ny where you can appeal and ejection
Looks like there was a reason for everyone of them. Ad you'd expect.
No legit reasons though
@@timdarnell7819 arguing balls/strikes and equipment violations are legit reasons. That's not even considering what may have been said.
If you're that thin skinned you shouldn't be an ump
I would just continue pitching.
If you're saying continue pitching after a bad call, yes I agree with you. Arguing balls and strikes with an ump is an automatic hook majority of the time so it's honestly not even worth it. There's still a game to play.
It is simple, the rule book says "you argue balks, balls or strikes, or throw equipment", you can be ejected. so maintain your "Professionalism" and don't do it?
Just sayin this, Angel Hernandez just kissed Mark Buehrle right on the mouth.
I think players should only get a fine for hitting an umpire some of them need to catch hands for the crap that pull. Make them think long and hard before blowing calls and tossing out players and coaches at the very least hit them with a fastball right in the mask
Just because you dont agree with an ejection doesnt mean it happened without reason
Fair, the reason is that these umpires are egotistical power hungry losers who feel the need to make everything about them.
2:00 there’s no way they allowed Angel Hernandez to be in the same game as Joe West right?
There's this thing called the umpire's union. The players have one, the umps do too.
I think they worked on the same crew together for a while.. Why on Earth anyone thought that was a good idea.. I'll never know
They did earlier in their career and they didn’t feel the same way about each other as the do no
mlb umps being as soft as nba refs...
2:53 -- No that ejection was fair game. This isn't football, you don't spike your helmet...which happened to nearly hit that ump too!
