Oh, yes. Things are heating up. Yes! You connected to the eye patch immediately. Kosh 2 is now gone, too. Yes! Cartagia is so mad that it hurts. Great acting by Krimmer, he nails the madness. I love the beginning of season 4. Be seeing you!
The end!!!! G'Kar is my favorite character, absolutely. When the family and I first saw the first five episodes of Season 4, it was early 1998, on TNT, and I was recovering from a personal trauma, so all of it was a little raw....okay, a LOT raw. And then the ending of this episode! I was sweating, not breathing, thinking we were going to hear something horrible. And we did - we didn't hear anything. Chills. Still can't watch this episode without recoiling, hoping it won't happen. Such an incredible show.
This is what makes the Garibaldi storyline so great. He isn't really wrong. Sheridan essentially went from trusting the Vorlons to trusting Lorien, how is that better? So all of his worries and concerns are completely legitimate. It is just how he expresses those concerns that has going, "what?" Yes, Garibaldi would be suspicious, but it feels like he would ultimately back his friends up no matter the play. So the fact that he is just a little off, is even more upsetting then if he were just acting completely out of character.
Yeah, Otherwise it's heck of a coincidence that he broke it exactly the last moment. A moment that shows his strength and still seemingly gives Cartargia what they wanted..
Season 2, Season 3, I would have sworn there was no Centauri more Hate-Worthy (But brilliantly portrayed!) than Lord Refa. Then come Cartagia, saying "Hold my Brivari."
Cartagia is the male character in all of film and TV media that I hate the most. When you consider Angelica Houston as the Baroness stepmother in "Ever After" is the female character I hate the most, Wortham/Robert Krimmer is in good company. I admire the fact that he pursued his first passion (law), but I feel he had so much more to give as an actor. He was fantastic!
I get the confusion on that. An episode or 2 later, G'Kar mentioned how he could see things he previously couldn't. Not sure the exact quote. It might be the next episode actually.
@@fubarpie The problem with people thinking about the "Eye' is when Londo gets the reading from the seer it is way after the fact. The prophecies he does get are for him to look in the future. The "Eye' itself is never brought up again.
"Apotheosis" means "ascending to godhood." That's obviously what Cartagia is trying to do, but at the same time, Sheridan is being revered like a prophet or messiah, despite him not wanting it. One is reaching towards apotheosis, the other is falling into it.
That guest actress at the start gets the award for absolute worst actress in all of B5. To be fair the dialogue didn’t help but the whole hysterics was over the top. It’s like they just told her to wing it and make something up. 20 years seems like a cop out, considering half the cast didn’t last that long. Delenn is definitely seeing the glass as half empty. Note at the end, when G’Kar loses his eye, not a sound comes from the room.
I thought the actress in this episode was awful, but as I have previously stated if you don't have good production and writing and direction then it compounds it. However, the worst female actor is still to come (think Mars), a truly dreadful choice. Worst male actor: well there is Whip Hubley ....
I took his smile at the end was just his response to Ivanova's comment about him being more pessimistic than she was.

He would be perfect to play Hunter Biden with the same tone. Though he might not have aged right. Girls, Drugs, Insane Coruption etc.

One of the heads, specifically the one that Cartagia mentioned, was Andreas Katsulas. 😉
I read somewhere that Peter Jurasik had said that Andreas even upstaged him in that instance. 🤭😁
Another prophecy missed by Londo for redemption

"You must save the eye that does not see"
I always thought that was "I" because Londo's next words were "I don't understand"
I get the confusion on that. An episode or 2 later, G'Kar mentioned how he could see things he previously couldn't. Not sure the exact quote. It might be the next episode actually.
The danger of prophecy is that this is easily confused for the "Eye" which is the artefact he recovers
@@fubarpie The problem with people thinking about the "Eye' is when Londo gets the reading from the seer it is way after the fact. The prophecies he does get are for him to look in the future. The "Eye' itself is never brought up again.
JMS has said that G’Kar’s eye is the eye from prophecy
FYI: Apotheosis The elevation towards divine status.
"Apotheosis" means "ascending to godhood." That's obviously what Cartagia is trying to do, but at the same time, Sheridan is being revered like a prophet or messiah, despite him not wanting it. One is reaching towards apotheosis, the other is falling into it.
Apotheosis means deification. It obviously refers to both Sharidan and Cartagia.
And Sheridan has been trying to do some falling (with style)
One might say G’Kar’s eye did not see Cartagia’s greatness….
Apotheosis means divination.
Make sure you poop before watching next episode

If we are doing an all timer list, I would nominate the psychic girl from Season 1 as the worst. haha
