ABOUT IRON MAIDEN:
Iron Maiden are an institution. Over the course of six decades they have come to embody a spirit of fearless creative independence, ferocious dedication to their fans, and a cheerful indifference to their critics that’s won them a following that spans every culture, generation, and time-zone. A story of gritty determination and courageous defiance of the naysayers, theirs has been an adventure like no other.
The band’s immense discography includes the studio albums ‘The Number Of The Beast’, ‘Piece Of Mind’, ‘Powerslave, ‘Somewhere In Time’, ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son’, ‘Fear Of The Dark’, ‘The Final Frontier’ and ‘The Book Of Souls’ which have spawned many classic hits as ‘The Trooper’, ‘Wasted Years’, ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, ‘Wasting Love’, ‘Run To The Hills’, ‘Aces High’, ‘Rime Of The Ancient Mariner’ and ‘2 Minutes to Midnight’.

This was the very first Maiden song my dad ever played for me. Changed my life forever. I lost him yesterday due to a brain aneurysm. Miss you dad
Strength brother!
Sorry for your loss. Keep strong man!
Sorry to hear! My dad's in a wheelchair, mainly unable to speak coz the same thing (half paralyzed). My mom saved his life, but it's still tough....
My condolences for your loss. My 3 kids like Iron Maiden, among a plethora of other genres of music...yet my love of metal shines in a step-son I adopted. Someone will carry on...as we all will through life.
Stay strong my brother

You CANNOT get tired of it... NEVER...
never
Never, ever! Maiden forever 😎🤘
I'm tired. Then again, it's because it's 220 in the morning when I say this. This song will never die!
You can get tired when you play it on bass XD
This is the best album ever. Stop.
I feel sorry for this people who don't know this kind of music and this amazing song 😢
Empty shells, husks of human beings. Forever lost in mediocrity
They have no inclination at all
It's not that they don't. It's that they relate to the musical content differently. I'm sure there is a song they know that gives them the same feeling that you have no idea about. I love Maiden just trying to spread music solidarity no matter what you listen too.
@@fgt9k There are always imitations or rather generic variations in music. This just happens to be the genuine original purveyors of all that is badass and heavy. A perfect blend of hard rock, punk and prog. A band that was born at the perfect place and time in space. If you can't take the time to educate yourself enough to understand this simple fact, do you actually deserve 'musical solidarity'??
me too...
My favourite song of Iron Maiden. 2024 and still listening to this masterpiece!!!
I only have one thing to say: "The evil that men do!"
Thank you IRON MAIDEN for finally uploading the official videos.
Best band in the world, UP THE IRONS! \m/

I discovered the Irons due to a mistake. I was looking for a Metallica song I heard in a movie and i mistakenly remembered it was from Iron Maiden. Finally I ended up listening to rime of the ancient mariner. Now I love them. Best mistake I've ever made so far.
What Metallica song did you hear?

MiGuel, sorry bro, u don't know Maiden very well... I advise you to know more of this band ;P
You advise me?, who are you to give me advice?. I played Iron Maiden songs when your mum put you diapers. Be quiet and speak only when they hit your cage fucking groggy.
12 years old, first Maiden album. Fave song from the album....at first. The Clairvoyant has always had a special place in my heart too. ❤

You are a cool dad. My dad read rime of the ancient mariner to me the poem when I was 14. He then played the Maiden song for me. But when I heard the Trooper was when I fully got hooked. Blew my mind.
I'm working on my daughters right now...

One of the most nostalgic and emotional songs by Maiden. Up The Irons!
one of the most memorable solos of mr adrian, only with age I have gotten the opportunity to see his an authentic genius!
Love is a razor and I walked the line on that silver blade
Slept in the dust with his daughter, her eyes red with
The slaughter of innocence
And I will pray for her.
I will call her name out loud.

Thank you, I now understand what the hell Bruce was saying in the Rock in Rio intro for this song after many years. I thought he was saying "often", so I was very confused. "The good that men do is often... turd with their bones???"

That bass gallop gets me every time.
Amazing album. Great memories.
It's amazing how Bruce has maintained his voice for such a long time, he has one of the best voices in the Metal genre, I attended my first Maiden experience this year and even when not at 100% Bruce still sounded awesome and put on a deadly show, hope to see the Irons again in the future.
sorry no, either the choice of new music sucks for iron maiden (anything after death of dance) or is it a voice of bruce that sucks now. It is up to us to hear some covers to decide
Abelard Adebayor did you mean dance of death
Dazed Banana yess
Abelard Adebayor how can you say either bruce or their new music suck... They both work significantly well together
Paul they included this song in their " Legacy of the Beast " tour, and I promise, Bruce is back, his voice sound as it did in 2005 or 2006 ....

Now I am 40 now and I still have goose bumps listening to their amazing songs. I better by very far listen to Iron maiden than many other kind of souless music garbbage playing now. Thank you Nicko McBrain for your inimitable drum performance which cannot be matched even in a thousand years. Up the Irons! Metal with class.
Ryan Cox Never a bad word.
Bill Smith Also highly educational at times.
Ryan Cox A lot of times. Still true with The Book Of Souls.
Bill Smith Defintely!
Ryan Cox Indeed, class, amazing lyrics and the best education you can possibly get.....they are a way of life....
I do recall listening to parts of the Seventh Son album back in 1998 or so as a teen and dismissing it as dated and not up to scratch. Showed how much I knew about metal back then. Then a few days later, I see this video on VH1's Friday Rock Show. I had never seen anything like it, the video is striking with all the flashing lights and the song is so aggressive yet intricately melodic. Wasting no time, after school the next weekend (I went to Saturday School, yes...it sucked) I bought the Seventh Son album. I had no idea that I finally had one of the finest heavy metal albums ever made in my possession as I went home.
all of their early albums were extremely satisfying, almost all songs were topnotch.
Exactly Helper Boy. They could do no wrong back then. Seventh Son was the second Maiden album I bought after Fear of the Dark.
@@vinaymulukutla358 fear of the dark didn't have a lot of good songs(apart from childhoods end, and judas my guide). "piece of mind", "no prayer for the dying" and "7th son" were for me the best albums. "X factor" also had a lot of good songs.
@@helperboy5020 I personally loved Fear of the Dark. Some incredible songs on there and one of the last great Maiden records in my opinion of course (although I did continue to enjoy the albums that came after). I don't really have a favourite from the 80's Iron Maiden records, they are all fantastic in their own right so it's hard to choose. No Prayer was an epic album as well, don't get why it doesn't get much love.
As for X Factor and Virtual XI with Blaze Bayley, those albums were a lot better than I expected.
This is the best voice performance of Bruce.
