in case there are any fans that might be thinking "the opening sounds shorter than usual" you're *RIGHT, BUT* there is a reason behind that. at this point in the run on Broadway, the opening used a giant witch hat that was spun around by the Ensemble members. when London opened this sequence was changed to the projections used now and all productions including the tour got the projections as well, thus, allowing the score to be heard in full on tour.
Any idea why they got rid of the hat?
@sheismymom I think because it was tedious since the cast members needing to unhook themselves from the hat’s pulley/rope system. Then if i’m not mistaken one of the original broadway ensemble members did say someone got injured or the pulley system in the hat was dangerous or something of that sort
It was not utilized for the tour because on briadway it "disappeared" into the floor via a trap, which would not have been a travel friendly effect for different theatres so it was replaced by the projection

I don’t. Mine’s apparently the “full version” but when i listened to it, the audio changes to Dee’s soundboard like halfway 😵💫
