They are literally one. Elizabeth is eating away at herself. It feels like they are different but as he tells her remember you are one. Elizabeth literally can’t stand being herself anymore she only gets enjoyment in life out of being young, pretty, and desirable. So what she eventually turns into is how she saw herself.
I was always so confused why alot of reactors think they're separate people and the simplest obvious answer I could think of is Elisabeth won't get more of the refill kits if she's not Sue, her body doesn't even need to switch (unlike sue who bleeds out of pain that has to) so she does it cuz she wanted to; that only proves how much she likes being Sue and became addicted living thru her cuz she hated herself so much so (and more when she became uglier thru her eyes that she literally can't stand living in her own body) their consciousness are only one, but they don't share a brain nor hearts; so Sue would act how Elisabeth would in her younger years; immature, stubborn and rebellious, and Elisabeth would know better but her addiction and intense self-hatred wouldn't let her pick the right decisions for herself
I just saw a reactor say that she thinks the name SUE is Elizabeth's initials spelled backwards. I'm hoping that wasn't obvious and I overlooked it. Lol
