Im so pumped last year we watched Mitch Trubisky take snaps. This year we have an explosive runner and he has a cannon and potential and a future Hall of Famer as well. Ill be so excited to see what they do in the draft. We are primed for a legit run!!!

I believe to keep Fields engaged and to keep DCs up at night, we will have packages for him in short yardage, RZ, etc so if Russ gets hurt he will not be as rusty! What do think about that Sim?

I'm in Chicago, and Poles traded Fields more to help him because he's a great guy. It wasn't a steal in the sense that people are making it out to be.

Wonder if the Steelers will have Justin get on the field this year with Russ familiar to Neil Odonell and a rookie Kordell Stewart older fans may remember how exciting that was in the early 90s. This is a great situation for all involved..Russ can get some bad taste out of his mouth from Denver time,….Justin can basically get a re start and learn from a future Hall of Famer… and the Organization can hopefully get back to winning some playoff games…our Defense surely deserves it don’t they. We’re in a very good place, and for those who say “what about another WR?” Well that’s something that can he addressed in the draft, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get 2 WRs.. Rather have this situation than to figure out who’s our next QB
I feel like it’s my birthday weekend 😂! Very pleased with the progress and glad we “Leveled up” in our QB room 😎 What a difference a week makes! I’m here for it too. Hope we wait till later in the draft for a QB and focus on getting the other infinity stones to make legitimate run at this season! Khan is inevitable! We lost that last year QB room in a snap and upgraded for the price of an NFL ham sandwich! Here we go Steelers!
It's interesting that you bring up the need for Steelers to change by being dynamic in trade market, as the 1979 Steelers were the NFL's last homegrown team (team made up entirely of players picked by the team and developed through the draft without trading from other teams). I was hoping Kenny Pickett would be like the Chargers' Justin Herbert, but that obviously did not work out. I'm happy to see the adjustments to the stale quarterback room and look forward to the Steelers making more upgrades to the offense and defense.

Khan surprised me .. I wanted Wilson and Queen and media speculated fields but with our track history of not making splash signings in free agency I thought we’d miss on all 3…. But we end up with them .. great work Steelers! Let’s keep it going sign Boyd and let’s get to draft
I don't want us to reach for a QB at 20 at this point. I'd much rather address the O-line or WR at pick 20. Maybe draft a project QB later in the draft, but we can't risk it at pick 20 when we have more pressing needs like Center, OT, and WR.
I like what we're doing in free agency, so far. We definitely upgraded the QB room. And getting Donte Jackson and Elliott in the secondary were pretty solid moves. Not necessarily as flashy as our other moves, but they are pretty good players that didn't break the bank.
Not to mention, getting Bill Burr as our punter. Lol 😂

the team needs a Bonafide center. Either one of the top two I would be fine with. Either one. then get the right tackle Mims from Georgia, then Sweat from Texas as your d line help, then The WR out of Florida.

Poles knew he couldn't keep Fields on the roster. So when value dried up in the free agency market, Poles sent Fields where he had the best chance to succeed. The Bears GM did him a "solid,." and the Steelers GM made a great deal for the Steelers franchise. This could be a win-win for everybody.
Yeah fields would have went early but the bears got to greedy with it. Him going to Pittsburgh is a solid decision. Take a year to learn and not have the pressure of being the guy. Should make Russ play better too.
Get a good center RD 1 in the draft, WR 2 the 2nd Rd, fill in missing pieces at CB and ILB thereafter. Need dirty dogs that block at WR.

You're getting way too excited over a mediocre backup QB. You apparently haven't seen him actually play and have been suckered by a few highlights of him breaking long runs. Fields has proven NOTHING other than he can't read defenses, he's highly inaccurate and he loses games in the 4th quarter. You only traded a conditional 6th but guess what, you get what you pay for: nothing.
