Elon always speaks from the heart, he's not the most fluent speaker, but I'll always choose to listen to him over rehearsed and cliched PR people. Not that there's anything wrong with what they said, just boring...
To think Elon used to get bullied and was called a loser all his life, including recently by people who don’t know anything about him other than the BS click bait media headlines every time he acts like a human being living a life as he sees fit like any average person. We are all ants compared to Elon with all that he’s accomplished, disrupted, and influenced. Literally the most positively influential man in decades and currently.
I love that Elon keep saying it’s for humanity, whereas the Americans keep on going on and on about the United States and how great it is. He’s doing it for all the right reasons. Inspiration for everybody.
As a black American I don't understand stand why anyone would bring politics and RACE in to this forum. The question about THOSE PEOPLE should be directed to you congressman or your president. This is science not politics or race relations.
It is all about life beyond Earth, of course, because as we all can see, life on Earth as failed. Ironically, Mars is commonly referred to as Earth 2.0. Elon, if you're reading this, I would like to book a one way ticket in advance. A cancellation insurance won't be necessary. Just get me the hell out of here before this planet implodes.
I'm Russian and I'm getting tears of this great achievement. So beautiful, amazing and it's a good example to the Humanity! I showed it to my Son 7 years old and he says wow!!! Thank you Elon and amazing team for everything - you give us hope and HUGE MOTIVATION to continue the DISCOVERY!!!!

its good to see elon this happy, you can tell it really means a lot to him.
The first caveman brought fire to humanity. The french brought personal transportation to the masses via the bicycle. Ford brought cars to the world. And now Musk guides people to the future.
Nasa: This is for every American.
I like Elon's honesty, humility and simplicity.

what's surprising to me is, Elon hasn't become bitter in character despite the rocky nature of the whole business, burden of expectation, difficult human relations. He remains the child-like character which really speaks to me, and to the public. Also strong because of his capability and vision.
