I've heard some LS's that sound pretty good but they had NA cams, everybody that builds an LS usually throws something in there with a LSA around 114 with no overlap so they can go turbo. With no overlap they don't have that choppy sound that something with a cam around 108 will have.
Absolutely! LS engines just have a bigger cam corcel small block Chevys have to run more aggressive lift LS our awesome but I'm an old small block Chevy guy LOL!

My uncle has a Nova you guys would love! 1970 SS 396...L78 375hp factory solid cam, steel crank. Car is like new! He's bought it when it was 2 years old.

WOW!!! Seeing this car rolling again brings back memories of a 73 Pontiac Ventura I used to have. It was nowhere near as powerful as your Nova, it had a straight six with a two speed powerglide trans. It wasn't a fast car at all, but it could do one tire fryers all day long.

I'm sure behind the scenes these guys have the same little family issues everyone has, but you can obviously see these people aren't " putting on" for the camera.. this is a great example of a true American family, and it think it's super cool that technology allows us to follow them and be a fly on the wall
Love you guy's. You are so right about factory drum brakes all the way around I had a 73 for 16 yrs and all kinds of goodies of the time era..... I had mine 1 time at 130!! And all most died cause ran out of neighbour hood road with 4 Hot drum brakes .. so I dropped it low and jerked it left and came out at a dead cross road sideways about I'd say at least 60 to 70 mph and learned not to stomp it until the right road!! True story come down I'll take you to that Exact road lol thank you and your dad for posting this video sure brought back some good memories. Crashed a GSXR 1100 in May 29 2000 that changed my life forever!! Had to sell my nova cause couldn't do all the kinda word it takes to put into the car!! Not counting the $$$ but I still have my memories of long posses!! And 139 mph bursa wheelies!! So thank you so much for this video would love to get y'alls address so maybe could come see you guys one day.....Billy maybe your dad could drive the Nova up to marshall NC and take me for a ride that would make me a very happy man.
