I got the 16 and moved away from the A52s. We weren't going to get the Snapdragon version of the S24 in my country and since I had a MacBook, it made sense to buy it. It's been stellar but honestly, it feels similar to the XR I had so many years ago and that's kinda sad.
Personally i didn’t have any random calls out of nowhere, but overall iOS is way worse than it used to be. Random glitches regarding Dynamic Island, specifically when used on side, so many features added in effort to catch up to Android but so unpolished like apple used to do, don’t get me started on Apple intelligence, man.. and no, putting “beta” over it isn’t excuse for its performance, specially when it is one of few points you market it to sell. There is a obvious difference between let’s say iOS 10 and iOS 18 and how apple is changing as a company, i honestly hope this will change because in my opinion majority of those who use Apple products would prefer fewer but well polished features implemented in each update than having as many as you can get updates without quality checks apple used to have. And if you wanna flex and prove you can do same as Android then hire more engineers so that you don’t sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity. I’m sure richest company in the world won’t go bankrupt by doing so 🤷🏻♂️
I upgraded from the iPhone 12 Pro to the 16 Pro, and to be honest, I regret it. I don’t think it’s worth paying the price for the changes it brings. English is not my first language, and I use my iPhone in my native language. Most of the AI features only work if your iPhone is set to English (which is a shame, in my opinion). The camera also disappointed me, for example, when I need to take a picture of a document, the camera focuses on the center of the page and leaves the top and bottom blurred. The camera button is only really useful for those who take a lot of pictures, otherwise it’s not a big deal. After years using iPhones, I’m looking forward to switch to the Samsung S25 Ultra when it launches. Don’t get me wrong, the iPhone is a very good phone, but I think they’re far behind compared to Android phones.
Nice 3 month review. I currently use an iPhone 14, I’ll be switching to the Pro model next year when my carrier contract expires. I’ll keep using iPhone, locked in with Apple fitness + and Apple Music .
I have the iPhone 16 pro. Had it for a few months now. I have never accidentally opened the camera by pushing the side button and I have mine set to single click.
@ no case. Maybe your button is a bit weaker. Mine is harder to press than the power button or action button so there is no chance of pressing it unless I squeeze my phone I’m on the way out of my pocket
I've been using my Xs since 2019. Would this be a good upgrade? I plan on keeping it the same amount of time, so about 5 - 6 years. Its 1275 euros here.
wow, good for you to make a phone last that long. I would say this will feel like a major upgrade! I also have high hopes for longevity on this phone. In summary, yes, I think this would be a good upgrade for you!
I guess that depends on which lens is broken and how she uses her phone. With a broken lens, the phone may lose its water resistance, so dropping it in water could kill the phone. Otherwise, I guess it depends on how much your mom misses the broken lens
My personal device is Android, and my work device is an iPhone. iOS is really poor compared to Android. I have no clue why anyone would choose to buy an overpriced Apple iPhone.
People getting iPhone also for an Apple eco system, not just the phone as a “phone”. In such case, Pixel does not make any sense (so as any other Android).

Great content keep it up as always bro
Thank you, as always :)
iPhone is getting worse. I mean every generation of iPhone . The software is Buggy. I'm calling numbers out if nowhere( 15pro) .
I haven't had any mysterious phone calls personally. Anyone else?
@@MikeOBrienMedia Hi i have a question
It’s not that it’s getting worse, it’s just that the updates are less revolutionary. I don’t see a reason in switching from 12 to 16
@@MikeOBrienMediame neither, I think someone is making up stories.

Great video! How's the heating tho? Is it better than 15 pro line up?

I got the 15 pro max should I upgrade will only cost me 130$
Meh, I wouldn't unless you are a content creator
For 130? 100% upgrade..
Sir, the 16 Pro Max is a really good smartphone, but you are like wine, you get better day by day.
What I learned from this video. My Android has a double-click power 'Camera Open' function?! What? 🙂
I'm glad you learned a new feature! Most android phones have this. If it is not working, check your settings :)

I am a big fan of the telephoto lens! The base model is nice, but being able to zoom in 5x and get high quality shots/videos is so nice
I was literally waiting for this video! Thank you❤
You're welcome! I am glad you liked it!

Interesting. Do you have a case on it? I'm not sure why it happens to me as often as it does
@ no case. Maybe your button is a bit weaker. Mine is harder to press than the power button or action button so there is no chance of pressing it unless I squeeze my phone I’m on the way out of my pocket
I’m okay with Camera button, the bigger problem is case manufacturers figuring out how to implement it
Yeah I would love to see more implementation in other apps
You don’t want to see pics of my inside pockets. You’d see one heck of a game of pool.
That’s why I can’t carry the iPhone 16.

@@MikeOBrienMediaI have an iPhone XS too, which I swap with my iPhone 14 monthly. Surprised how the XS is still usable.
Mike i have a question
if my mom has the 13 pro Max with a broken camera lense, should she upgrade
I guess that depends on which lens is broken and how she uses her phone. With a broken lens, the phone may lose its water resistance, so dropping it in water could kill the phone. Otherwise, I guess it depends on how much your mom misses the broken lens
No.
Hi mike i talked with somthing argent work

Nah. Grab a Pixel instead.
you know I'm a huge Pixel user! Everyday I carry my iPhone 16 Pro and my Pixel 9 Pro Fold!
Or a Samsung Galaxy 🤷🏻♂️
@@ThomasGracie92yeah, no
lol, pixel…. Thinking they even compare is outright just funny.

I have 16 Pro for 3 month. The screen is not as scratch resistant as my 12 Pro from before. Just keep that in mind
I replaced my 15pro with a Motorola Edge 2024
