If I had the money my cruise ship would have all the bangs and whistles plus an F1 race track and an airport! What would you have on yours? Ridiculous is no object! 😂👍🏿
Funny when I heard about all the cruise ships being decommissioned, I had this idea to turn them into little floating cities. If you worked from home or had a stable income, it would be an awesome way to travel around and live.
Not sure I understand the advantage. The initial investment is 2.5 million USD. Monthly maintenance fees are 135,000 per year. That breaks down to about 400.00 per day, not including the 2.5 million initial investment. You could book back to back world cruises in a mini-suite for less than that. I'd be interested to know what happens when there's a norovirus outbreak? What about other viruses? Living in such close quarters with the same people passing whatever viruses they pick up in port around the ship..it would be never ending sickness
I'll believe this when I actually see this ship built and launched. In the early 2000's a conman named Randall Jackson pulled much the same kind of shit with his "Magellan" project. Jackson sold off the entire ship based on CG renderings, floor plans, and flashy videos. He disappeared with all of the investors/tenants money with hearty "Hi-O-Silver" and was never seen again. Storylines (how appropriate) supposedly signed a contract for the construction of this thing in August 2022...and it's supposed to be completed and launched by 2025...sure it is...pull the other one, it's got bells on it.
OMGOSH This is a great way to invest your money, make some back with rentals when your not living on the fab ship. A great experience for your children and and best of all you don't ever have to make your bed🤣🛏️👏❤️
Not for me even if I had the money...I can't help but think about the ocean waves and bad weather, ... It's not always easy sailing... Then there is emergencies.. Needing to have a surgery or medical procedure... I'm also assuming these are people who hate having family visits and family gatherings... So much to consider... Definitely not for me
I would think after three or four years it would grow old. I mean even if you spent six months at a time on there that might get old after a while too. I'll bet there's a ton of turnover within 5 or 6 years. I could only go to Rome or London a few times.
OMG that is too funny🤣Yo those Somali pirates are some drug crazed Mfr's. Things aren't as bad over there as it used to be because our boved Military ships escort American ships passing thru. That's what makes you feel like a special American 🇺🇸💜🙏
If I had the money and no responsibilities I would do it. Sounds alot better than being alone in my old age.
When I am a rich man, monetarily, I will purchase you an apartment onboard!

It looks comfortable, relaxing and expensive

Its just a friendly reminder your apartment can leave the dock when you are late getting home from shopping lol

Imagine u are late to return home from shopping and your apartment left the dock
What's the latest news on this ship? Has construction of the ship actually started? If so, at what point of construction is it?
They aim to complete building this late 23. Are you on the waiting list for accommodation yet?

So basicly after 30 years, when the ship gets recycled, you loose all the millions you paid for your residence?

Cool
it's all for the wealthy people on earth. what we can do is to dream of having a unit of that luxurious vessel.
The price yo purchase a unit is the average price for a house in the city.Middle class families are buying house that are over a million dollars
Its only 2100 a month
Top Terror target ........ could be . Terrorists , Pirates, etc.
To much water
Too peopley. Isn't the point of living out on the water to get away from so many people?
I wonder how the people on this ship handled the past couple years.
It hasn't been built yet.
Beautiful..... Until the Somali pirates hit it smdh. No thanks.
Of course...no 2nd Amendment.
