Toyota did it first with the Lexus LFA. Toyota used to be a loom manufacturer until the 1930's where they tried to diversify their manufacturing portfolio by going into the automobile industry. They spent a billion dollars to build a mechanized loom that could weave carbon fiber structures for the LFA, something that hasn't really been done since at that scale and that's why Toyota/Lexus lost money on every LFA sold. It's been said that every LFA built cost Toyota nearly 400k USD, but they sold them to the public at a loss for 300k.
So basically what we have is a W800 Kawa motor set inside a whole bunch of bells and whistles that the average person don't need and can't afford. Might as well go out and buy the Kawa and drop it into a custom hardtail with a girder front end. 81,000 pounds is a joke.
Great looking bike. Good choice of motor. But everything carbon to reduce weight also makes it insanely expensive. Those fenders really look bad. They look like ducks beaks. Carbon wheels, get a prob whit those and your really f....d along side the road. But than again the people who are going to get one of those bikes prob pay straight out of there wallet cash. Not to piss anybody of, but they should make a poor man,s version of that bike. Ye know, normale steel wheels and spokes. No carbon. And the old style fenders. 40 kilo extra weight should not be a prob for the bike. After all the kawa w 800 is 225kg
it's a great look. Maybe the 'carbon' obsession went bit too far - as did the titanium. But. let's be honest, this is a one-off trophy. I do not believe, for one moment, this bike is available as a purchase for customers. Or ....are we actually saying, that if any rich-kid phones up and says money is no problem - then they will make another one? or five? or ten? In that regard it's a custom of a custom custom bike - available only to those who never look at any price. Therefore, it's interesting, it has some real beauty - but, that 's it. Also, a shot of you going onto a street - and then back again to some ally entrance.... was pathetic. A teenager with a camera fone would have made a better job.🤥
Yeah, nah. Headlight off 19th century steam train. Fuel cap that cant be undone with gloves on. No rear suspension because its easier to make a spring seat.Ugly mix of modern and ancient design . Girder front ends finished in the 30s. Hydraulic brakes . Harley did that in the 60s.What a mess.Frame sections too thin and then the unfinished weld surfaces look odd. The vegetable strainer wheels covering the most dirt prone hubs ever made. How would you clean them?Harly WLA rear guard and front guard off a 70s trailbike. At that price its going straight in the front office never to see the road.Bit of eastern Europe Ural chopper vibe.
Id prefer an NUT or a noble maybe even Raleigh over this, far more character. Theme bikes dont really interest me when the modern versions are chunky hulks.
This bike exist only in 1-2 pieces. His problem is price. If you have 100k $ you can spend them much better for bike with real value and not for art on two wheels which will be "settled" in showroom for ever...
Sound and camera quality has gotten better with this. Keep them coming guys. Not my style of bike but cool to see.
It's a work of art/engineering. Not form over function but form AND function! Fab!
This is truely a piece of art.
So beautiful, it puts a tear in my eye! Its pure artwork and genius!
Beautiful machine ⛽️
That is a beauty, I love the story behind it
Very beautiful bike. These guys are artist!

I like the bike. Wondering where it will sold.

Cool !
Kawasaki W800 Motor?
Beautiful moto bike on earth
Good old Bohunk ingenuity.
Price?🤔
75k gbp.
100k USD approx. in Czech cost 2,5M CZK, more than Brough Superior...
i love the kawasaki w800 engine there really good engines
Who signed off on the headlight position? Apart from that, beautiful!
It recalls the acetyline headlights that bikes had before electric bulbs became reliable enough,

That pushrod tube is an eyesore use t140 motor. the chassis is epic!
A work of automotive art, a retro futuristic design - somewhat Steampunk. Probably horrendously expensive
the front looks like it was in an accident 😵💫
Knitted carbon fiber. Can you make me a cardigan please?

Awesome

90,000$... I almost had an heart attack.
Not worth 100k w/ taxes. at most 30k.
So that is a Kawasaki W800 engine in it.
of course
I like the bike, the interviewee is sound. The interviewer is annoying.
Fair enough.
3d printed titanium? Tsk, the world we live in! 😊
100K? Not a 100K bike. At most 30k.
Drum brake ABS

The headlight is waaaaaaay too big.
It's so much out of proportion that it's ugly
You drag your feet like a novice.

From the quality and engineering, I guess this beautiful machine is eye wateringly expensive, 🥲🥲🥲
Are you sitting down? Good. 81000 GBP.
