Congrats guys. Good to know another classic will be on the road for many miles to come. Reminds me of an old Beetle one of my grandads friends had when I was little (Minus the air ride) so definitely loved watching this episode! Enjoy!

As soon as you said you were gonna fit a TV I screamed. The whole build is so clean and respectful to such an iconic car though so big respect.

Way better than the original series. I gotta admit, I pulled a funny face when they started talking about the projector (Flash backs and all that) but it didn't turn out bad at all. And they genuinely sort the car out too so massive improvement on the old series. Loving it so far.

Totally agree, it's a shame to cut it down to just 15 minutes when they have spent weeks working on the car. At least bump it up to 30 minutes as an absolute minimum.
The purple looks good on it, as do the wheels.
You guys need to market this new Pimp My Ride more, this is actually good!

Hey all. This beetle turned out fantastic. I got my wife on the US version of the show with Xzibit back in the day. 1973 VW Thing (Type 181) We kept her car and I'm working on a where are they now follow up series on the cars and contestants from all the versions worldwide. Come check it out.

I preferred the old colour scheme but if your going to do a full resto , go for it !
