Hi loving your videos guys 😍 I've seen you've been on a few crusise with your children which one was the best? 🤔 I'm looking at Anthems or Msc atm as Msc seems alot cheaper 🤔 The word you were looking for was "Attention" Attention to detail 😅👍
🤣🤣🤣 it certainly is!! Hmmm I think this all depends on the age of the kids, and also yes MSc is much cheaper so also depends on your budget. We loved anthem with the kids as there was so much to do including quizzes etc and will def be looking at taking them on another royal when we have the cash. But you can’t beat msc for budget and lots going on (if it’s a hot cruise they are entertained all day in the water park)
Great videos as always! We loved Anthem of the Seas, but we would have been disgruntled by the lack of attention to detail in the cabin! We have found service to be good on all of the Royal Caribbean ships we have been on - crew always seem friendly, and that leads to much better service in our view! Glad you both had a great time :)
Good review - we just did 14 nights on Anthem and our Deck 13 standard balcony was filthy - there was eye drops from a previous guest plus a sticker from a shore excursion, fluff everywhere and body hair on the shower that was never cleaned until I hosed it off myself on Day 4. It really needed a deep clean. Thought it missed a sunset bar and a crows nest since as you say in the vid, you don't really feel you can see a lot of the sea at times. It needed more outdoor pools - only one proper outdoor adults pool that had a volleyball net rigged up for the middle of the day. Thought the MDR was disappointing in food variety and quality
Thank you for your comments William, that is very poor with the condition of your room, one thing for us even if something is dated as long as it’s clean I’m not fussed, thankfully the bed was clean but other areas in the cabin we’re definitely lacking. Thanks for watching
Hi William. Thank-you for you detailed review and coming off a 14 night cruise you would of had a better overview than our 6 days over the past two years. As you saw yes we felt the cabins definitely need a long overdue refurb. We really like royal and will try more ships, but do feel these type of ships are very Las Vegas style looking in. Thanks for watching and hope even with these niggles you had a nice two weeks. Tom
Quite!! Although we’re very much the type of people we expect what we pay and knew this would be a rushed job! If this had been our cabin for a two week stay I would have been straight to reception 😂
I avoid 2/3 nighter cruise like the plaque. I found anthem a little dated but that’s just me . I wouldn’t rush to go on her again. Although I loved the food on royal but their cruises are very pricey
💯 agree, we only did this as had credit from a previous booking. We also found it quite dated in areas. Would like to try other royal ships and food is very good 😊
Attention to detail was disappointing. We had stains on our sofa and the cabin was only cleaned at our allotted time of 10am. If we wanted a lay in then the room wasn't cleaned. These cut backs are noticeable. Great review though!

Been on two Royal Caribbean cruises, and we enjoyed both of them. However, we are taking the Anthem to Norway this June, because we had another itinerary booked which we changed but did not want to lose our nonrefundable deposit so we moved it to this one. We may have selected a different line for Norway based on ports of call but we know the brand and trust it. I hope we have a great time and a wonderful experience. We did Alaska last June and everyone says we need to do Norway as well as they are quite different, so we are looking forward to it. I know the service on Royal has been really good in our experience. Although after cruising with Virgin for our last two cruises we are not looking forward to the conventional buffet again. Probably stick to the MDR’s as much as we can. 🛳️
