Malcolm doesn't need to cheat. He's a literal genius. Did they forget the time he brought the whole smart class to their knees and he didn't even break a sweat?
Yeah...? Is your point here that he would not understand how the other kids feel like they need to cheat? Or are you missing the context that this is a team competition. So the only way the group win is if they all preform great. Thus they need to use Malcolm for cheating.
Absolutely! The show never became a bad comedy. But all family members regressed (except Dewey) in the later seasons. The part you mentioned was the worst offender imo.
Nah. The family is def insane but all of them have very string moral. Like when Reese got in trouble when working at Circus burger and he got set up. Or when Francis fired the first coworker he met at the ranch cause he wanted to scam Otto. Of course it's not like they're always perfecto. That's the magic of the show i guess, how inconsistent they are and what pushes them into their actions. I'd say that Hal and Lois are the ones who have surpassed a lot of limits.
Yeah he never should have left them. Nether as a character nor as a plot point. They had some of the best episodes and brought IoT Malcoms best qualitys. I would also ship Malcom and that black heard girl for sure.

It's not about winning, it's about sending a message

Malcolm: “Don’t worry sir, we were ready to grab your ankles if you got too far up there” 🤣😂

I've always liked how Malcolm has moral even tho he comes from... well... His family :D
Same - the later seasons went too far with constantly making him selfish. I think the Krelboynes leaving the show weakened his character
His mother instilled some good moral values in him despite how much of a control freak she was.

I missed Malcolm’s krelyborne friends after season 4
