Surprised you didn't mention the electrical burn in Frankenstein's manor roof peek. This is some serious attention to theming detail. They really are going all out with this park. 😍😍😍😍
im sure they were already building with hurricanes in mind. theres no way of preventing any damage at all, the ideal is preventing as much as possible. But since it was still under construction, it was already likely to be damaged more extensively. it will fare better against a hurricane once it's completed.
Please do not donate to American Red Cross. Donate but not to them. 100% of their donations do NOT go to the relief efforts..it's like 8 cents to the dollar does. There are many LOCAL and reputable relief donation companies out there that contribute a %100 to the relief efforts, such as; Wings of compassion , Samaritan purse, project hope, are just a few. These are groups that have boots on the ground and your money is being used 100% for the relief efforts. Do the research before you donate. I've been through numerous hurricanes living in FL over the last 30 years and I can tell you that ARC is not one of them. Volunteers are shuttled in from staying in plush resorts, they sell food and the execs are living a good life...
After the Match that Hurricane Milton was hit in Florida on Wednesday night I Hope that Super Nintendo World will still continue to work at Epic Universe in Orlando when it's open in the year 2025. ♥ 🙏
Florida building codes are actually pretty good regarding hurricanes, anything being built, especially newer development, will be capable of withstanding hurricanes. In terms of wind, Milton's primary damage was from tornadoes it generated. Tornadoes can be a threat pretty much year-round in Florida, but there aren't typically 100+ like Milton generated. Milton also did not stall over Florida, so fortunately the worst part of the storm had a rather short window to cause damage. Milton also weakened very quickly, having gone from Category 3 to Category 1 by the time it entered the Atlantic less than 12 hours after making landfall. Flooding has been an issue with Milton as decades of suburban-style development has caused Florida to be covered in lots of impervious surfaces that disrupt nature's ways of handling large amounts of water. I was really surprised that Universal had so much done on the water features around Celestial Park before the storm. A landscaper actually caused one of the rivers not to be ready on opening day at Volcano Bay after spilling dirt into the day before, I figured Universal would try to get everything planted around water features before filling them with water.
I’m ngl that fallen tree in dark universe would be a cool detail to the park
If it wasn’t blocking the queue I would completely agree with you!
@@adventuresaway Then just preserve it in resin and put it somewhere else!
For those who are wondering it's in 1:56

It really is beautiful the attention to detail
@@adventuresaway I'm like a kid waiting for the toy store to open. 🤣🤣🤣🤣👀🫣
I hope that Epic Universe can open safely without losing to the hurricane.
Hurricane Milton is over, it's just time for repairs.
With new construction now is a good time to rebuild smarter and preplan for future hurricane

They should've built a geodesic, transparent mesh, weather/elements-proof half-sphere raised dome over the entire park property.
Cobblestones have round edges and a round top side. The rectangular flat top pavers (or simulated in this case) are Belgian blocks. Katzenkoepfe
Fair, definitely do not claim to be an architect lol
I’m on the roof!!!!! 5:27

Working on super nintendo world? :0 so luckyy!! I hope you're having fun lol
🤩 That must be a really awsome opportunity to be able to work on construction at epic universe 🤩
Have you seen the interior of any of the dark rides? What a cool opportunity to be able to work on Epic lol

Clean and Paint.
this is actually insane, hurricanes are worse then I thought
All the work that epic universe did💀
And none of it was really damaged by the hurricane.
@@ethankleinman1067 I thought it would be real bad
2:35 that “Inside of” really betrayed your hidden Floridian accent.
I thought Milton would’ve absolutely wrecked Epic.
That makes 2 of us!

honestly doesn't look that terrible
Disney World Milton Damage Report & Monsters Inc. Land Construction Update (January 3, 2025) 🏗👾
If the hurricane absolutely ruined the park, they have to start over
They would cancel it.
Well, we’re thankful the damage was minimal
LOL Your comment is so silly why in the heck would they start over u clearly don’t know how construction works.
