@@Lilly-gn8gb this was at Goolwa Beach, approximately 1 hour south of Adelaide. A 4WD is required to access the beach via vehicle however the area where the cockles are can also be accessed via foot if you park at Beacon 19 boat ramp (a quick Google search will sort you out there 😉) and follow the designated track through the dunes to beach 👍
Always looked at getting one of these normally i would don the wetsuit and kneel down and just use my hands but i think as i get older this might be the way to go .
Gotta love this time of the year. all us fisho's down the beach looking like seagulls stomping in the sand. lol. good video mate.
Thanks. Always wondered how they were used
I love mine Mate... Makes for some very light work on Cockle Day 😁👍
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video. Would really love to know this location so I can take my grandson on my first visit to S.A in December.

Thank you for taking the time to watch it my friend 👊
Nice one! Do you usually target low or high tide?
@@fishinbite for Goolwa Beach specifically ... Low Tide as they tend to be found a little bit deeper
