We Don't know what the Thin Man/Mono? Would have done.
What's interesting is that the tall man doesn't kill you, he just grabs you. The fact that the man is the main character from the future, added by his revenge against Six, just makes this moment even better.
He probably wants to help Mono escape his fate of becoming the Thin Man himself by keeping Six away from him, even if his hateful nature over her isn’t necessarily justified with the secret after-credits scene.
Six pretty much: You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Thin Man, not become them! bring balance to the world, not leave it in darkness.

Once after escaping the Maw and arriving in Thin Man’s territory, stripping her of power and tasking the hunter to guard six until the music box drives her batty. Second time would be in game and finishing her off himself, the whole six boss battle is basically Thin Man saying...”I should’ve left u to rot with that music box in that damn basement!!!” I bet he revealed himself as Mono before turning Six into a monster. Out of revenge and as misguided mercy, Six let him fall in the end so that Mono would never become Thin Man. Never realizing Mono survived and became Thin Man anyway. If Thin Man’s identity was never known and he let go of his crazy revenge. Maybe Six wouldn’t have dropped Mono...if the Thin Man identity theory was true.

Hunter is keeping six in a cage because he will probably give her to ferry man who would take her to the maw, and ferry man would give hunter some money for it.

I think that Six realized the Thin Man is Mono from the future, like Mono as an adult, so she dropped him off a cliff inside that tower dimension so that the Thin Man would be trapped forever so-to-speak, because if Six brought Mono with her, she would be scared he would become the Thin Man if they are still together, and therefore she dropped him. But Six didn't know that Mono actually becomes the Thin Man from her actions of dropping him off the cliff, so that is why he comes to attack her, and het revenge. Only his youngest self will always kill the older self and try to save monster Six, then Six will drop him, and Mono becomes his older self again. Mono is basically fighting himself the entire game. Mono has some serious identity issues.

Well, Mono waits at the bottom of the signal tower in that like monster dimension waiting for someone to save him. As he waits, he grows older. It is shown that once he has grown six times, he is wearing a hat and sitting in the chair, waiting for the younger Mono to come save him, because the Mono we played as has become the next Thin Man because of Six's actions and thus there is a repeating loop of Monos.

@@saga2482 No. I think that Thin Man was sitting in a chair waiting silently because of this, he is in his own prison due to the power of the tower. He can travel through time. He can go back to the past so that he can get Past Mono into freeing him from his eternal prison.

If you look closely at all the deaths, you can tell that thin man actually cares because he is the only one that doesn't actually kill mono. All he does is picks him up to keep him from encountering the same fate as him. The reason why there's a game over is because he can't progress in the story any longer and save six as intended.
Now that I look at it, the Thin Man is the only one who you never see specifically killing you in some way. He’s only grabbing you.
Maybe the creators didn't want to make a brutal scene, bcs, y'know, he could kill you with his hands

Well, maybe the impact was so strong that it possibly knocked him out or killed him. He is very small after all, maybe if you die near the spikes you get crushed. But if he did faint, the hunter probably found him later, so that’s a game over. Or he just got scared and the hunter found him later.

In a way your right because if you collect all the ghost children you get a bonus ending where six pops out of a tv for the last time and then shadow six appears and looks at a drawing of the maw and disappears and six starts to get hungry.
My theory is that shadow six either killed mono or manipulated six into doing so, but when shadow six looks at the maw and six starts getting hungry that means little nightmares 2 might be a prequel to little nightmares:0

In the first game we see her turn from questionable to villainous.
In Very Little Nightmares we see her go from kinda innocent yet mysterious to a questionable character.
She isn't a good character. She's become no better than the monsters she's running from.
Shadow Six is the good in her. It's a shadow of her former self.
It always shows up when Six has to make a choice and it seems disappointed when she makes the wrong one (which she always does).

@@meepfan408 you see the parts where Mono is with Six and where Mono is purposely killed as shown here multiple times, she bails away even when you get killed by traps as if she didn't care, idk probably just unimportant; but my personal headcount is that there are multiple alternate universes and that there is no true ending. What if Six wanted Mono to live but she knew that she would end up killing him or she knew that Mono is the thin man just sent back to control his own fate?, what if Mono after he turns into thin man knows that he is being told something by another thin man?. It's obvious nothing is confirmed but we can only speculate what happens in the end.

Can you do a: "Little Nightmares 2 - All Mono tv transmissions" where you have to tune the transmissions because i really want to see the epic entrance of meeting the tv screen with mono for the first time.
Everything that happens in little nightmares gives me a panic attack because I'm terrified of the concept of being eaten alive, getting chased while feeling like you can't run correctly, body horror, and the fact that you're a little kid and everything here wants to kill you in the most horrific ways possible.
