@@Firefly256 you can totally prevent stalemate with queen+king, just like you can with bishop and juan. It is also possible to stalemate with rook+king just like how it's possible with any other formation of pieces. The only difference is that it is generally faster to mate with queen+king than rook+king, which is faster than bishop+juan. It is better to promote to queen if you don't want to flex because most of the time it's faster (the exception being the very rare juan juicer promoting mate).

It is Caro-Kann when the black pieces move the queen bishop’s pawn (c6). In this case, the white king bishop’s pawn move (f3) is called the Barnes opening, the worst one.

maybe he thought the queen button wouldnt work because you arent able to promote to a queen if you already have one or some shit but then he didnt even have a queen so it makes no sense
i 1v1'd someoni had a queen already so umm i underpromoted to a bishop (i got killer bishop from that btw)

Promoting to bishop was sort of a 600 iq play, got the checkmate move with it
Queen won quicker and could also checkmate in that spot

I thought starting rating was 400 with a minimum of 100
Depends on what you click. Chess.com gives you a choice between 4 options, if you click the second option (first is complete beginner) you should be 800 default.
Anyway if you keep losing and losing you drop down fast

I take back all my "this is the worst chess game I've ever seen" and put all of them on this one,singular match
this is not even the worst chess game, since one of the guys managed to make a difficult checkmate. It would be a lot worse if it ended in a draw for exceding the 50 moves rule.

Just gonna say 0 elo is most likely defined as "100% random legal moves". So -200 elo means they were also attempting to play illegal moves.
This is, I believe, the only real match I’ve ever seen where an alternative to the 2 move checkmate could have occurred.
Of course, it didn’t, but the fact that it was even possible boggles my mind.

The only 2 important things to promote to are queen and knight, bishop and rook are legit just worse versions of the queen
I mean there's very specific situations where you promote to bishop/rook but otherwise never
I have 200 and I play with 80 accuracy, don't ever underestimate 200 ELO chess
