I have been eyeing a couple of Toor fixed blades at my local pawn shop. Price seems high to me but I am going to stop in and see if he will work with me if I get both. Thanks for the sign KC 🤙🏼
I took a chance on a Toor knife on the secondary market first time; a like-new Sicario Recurve SN 123 . Dull blade, sold it. Judged too quickly. Then said to myself, let's give it another chance. Picked up a new Marauder, absolutely love it. Sharp AF, awesome ergos, and is my legit EDC. Then went head first in again and couldn't pass up a brand new sealed Krypteia. Absolutely phenomenal build quality. Annndddd, on the secondary market side snagged a like-new Field 2.0 Spanish Moss that will be deployed for hunting season. No bad words to say. Current knives are sharp and an extension of my hand. All will see more use in the battles yet to come. Always Forward.
That's awesome man. Yeah they have definitely had some issues with some of their older knives, but the newer fixed blades are amazing. Like you said. I love mine and I'm glad you do yours. Thank you
I love Toor knives. So far I've got two of the older paracord jank shanks, field 1.0, darter and a dark angel medical/toor collab. of the vandel. (No ring at the end).
This is my favorite knife. TOOR field 2.0 in battleship grey with walnut handles and dynamic fluting with copper liners and CPM154 sharp a f , and I keep it that way . The steel, the handles , the coating everything about this knife is awesome! Very nice feel , and weight in hand. Easy to sharpen it really takes an edge it is very impressive steel , and TOOR has to do a great heat treat the way it performs so great. I mean they do a really great job!!!!
@@KnivesFAST yea theres an original krypteia for sale on Ebay and I thought about pulling the trigger but can't justify spending $300 on another knife when I already own 20 lol

Just picked up a Krypteia and this thing is THICC. I feel like I could hammer it through a 2x4 and not need to worry about damaging the blade. That being said the knife came nice and sharp. It's just not built to be a paper cutter. Definitely a built for self-defense and duty carry in my opinion. Very cool knife.
The retention of mine is pretty good. I mean I fell in a river and it stayed in the sheath. Again it's leather so it's not going to be as tight as a kydex sheath but it's pretty good
So I've never had the opportunity to check that one out. It's definitely more of a tactical knife in my opinion. But I would think it would work fine for EDC as well. They're fixed blades are usually really really well made. Thanks
I don't think that coating should be wearing off so soon on any expensive/high quality knife, just don't seem right and so far that's the only negative I have been seeing with these Toor knives, I really been thinking about buying a couple but that's the one thing that stops me from pulling the trigger on the buy, hopefully it's a normal wear thing but just seems like it should last longer, also I have seen blades have wear within 2 weeks of not being used heavy
I hear what you're saying. Mine didn't wear off quickly. If you go back and watch my review of it you'll see that I batoned with it very hard. Most coatings would wear off in that situation. But good information. Thank you

How is the retention on the field 2.0 sheath? I do a lot of horseback riding and I’m worried it will fallout

The serpent has no liners and is cpm3v I prefer it much better steel IMHO got lucky with the fde color

Again the knife is a perfect size but the sheath has the clip low enough where a lot of handle kind of pokes out That's my only issue. Thanks
