What a shocking revelation ! Erosion on the Coast ?? I love the attempt at drama. Here's the real shocker. The planet is always eroding. That's where all that beach sand comes from and virtually all other things like the entire world's coastlines.
The homes were built in the 1950s, the lost apartments in the early 70s. Both were built hundreds of feet from the cliff face and climate change and erosion was not as much of an issue. There was very little erosion until about 15 years ago in the areas they showed.
Asa Santa Cruz resident most of my life, this is not news. We've been told this would happen. For years we've been losing coastal property.
Erosion been happening for millions of years
Yes, but that doesn't help address the issue and what the next steps are.

sea level rise exacerbates erosion
I wonder why?
Pacifica has had concerns since the 50’s.
Maybe you shouldn’t have built along the coast. The zoning board the contractors are much to blame

Let nature be nature. Love PCH, but also know most of it is forced on the natural inclination of the cliff face to fall and coastline migration.
Sell now before next winter because the worst is yet to come as our planet seeks equlibrium.
I'm an old man watching the end game. 🤓
Oh hell yeah throw more tax dollars at climate change
OH YOU SHUT UP, TRUMP!!!!!
