Yeah, brought back some memories about running the TV truck back in high school. The whole thing with the principal was...well, I've seen (and filmed) creepier in a real life school. But no way in HELL there would be any kind of awareness about depression or mental health in the early 1990s.
If only numerous high schools, including my old one, can make a news video like this like a Halloween special. No guns, blood, violence, no death. Just pure analog horror just to creep kids out, even the tough at-risk ones.
i thought about going to the counselors office, and when i did, i felt much better! my peers and classmates now make me so happy! wormwood really is the best school i've atttended!
as the composer i can safely say the music was not inspired in any way by 100 gecs lmaooo, i can sorta see the comparison though i suppose you could say there are visual similarities with fnaf
@@MediaMonochrome Even if you didn't mean for it to look like them, I can see the subliminal influences and inspiration you take from such great artists! Be proud of being compared to such cultural icons of analog horror.
Well there is a bunch of things on this first news network, here is my two cents with both the video and the handbook. The recitation of wormood "words" is litterally a tirade to a kind of someone leading a group of people to look foward. There is a link at the end of the line saying "one for all and all for one". This line is also written on the handbook at the end of the letter made by the assistant principal "omnes pro uno". My guess is that something between the students and the "leader" are going on, and the principal and his assistant is not the only "group of people" in this situation. This is not the only thing to point it out. We can see two kind of "promotion/ad" part on the news network which is focused on help working and against depression. The second one is also important to keep in mind. Well right now i would tend to say that the following video will help us to see what this series aims to.
I didn’t really find this video all that scary… Not hating on it at all! I found the ending to be more unsettling than anything. Still, good video and I hope to see more!
I agree; but I think that was the idea. From the start, we see how 'robotic' everyone seems, so alike. Even the laughs seem forced & even desperate. I got a 'Disturbing Behavior meets The Stepford Children' feel from this one. The school is run by Evil & this Evil demands obedience.....or else. I love how right at the start, the girl on the left smiles...but as the image rolls over.....she looks miserable...just for a moment.
Hail the Principal for such a perfect system. We truly would be nothing without school. Okay, listen, do NOT trust them! I don't know what happened, but the change is too erratic! Sure, it may seem hetter initially, but over time, the students and the parents disappear! I heard rumors that the parents forget their child three weeks before disappearing.

Let’s go
Nothing better than a depression PSA in high school news
Yeah.
I talked to the counselor about wanting to leave. I feel better now and want to stay forever. Hail the principal for such a good system
Glad you feel better
The principal truly knows the best for us
analog horror but live action!! ppl gotta make more live action stuff. seriously. this was good.
People don’t make live action most of time because they don’t have any actors :(
Lol, I feel the exact opposite: More animation, not everything needs to be live-action.
This is so well made holy cow
man this makes me wanna go back to high school and work on a student news program
you must be insane

wow this was a fire episode
get it because the stupid heat-related puns
All Hail The Principal
I love the depression segment. I love how yall shot this!
Always drop the class before the W period! We are lucky, the principal is so important
I was getting kicked out of the Navy about the time they were making this. 🤣
This was really good!! A very well made horror film. It seems like its a metaphor for how schools turns people into mindless robots
Tbh high school in general is already scary onto itself

There's very few dork movies made by dorks.
This is a very good quality and underrated analog horror with top-tier live action. Good work, creators!
I wasn't feeling well and missing home a lot. Good thing I talked to my councilor. I never want to leave this wonderful place. All hail the Principal.
I wish to visit the Counselor's Office.
This reminds me of LIVE from The Mysterious Benedict Society. Boarding school horror always goes hard.
My dear, always remember what sweet Reynard noticed… “LIVE” backwards is, indeed, “EVIL.”
(Also, OH MY GOSH, THAT BOOK SERIES IS THE ABSOLUTE BOMB-)
I wonder where this takes place
4:55 i reay thought he was going to say KYS here
A cult based around school? Well then
I guess you could say those jokes were really lit
analog horror series????
Perhaps
love it
Me: *sees the term wormwood * “K-I’m out.”
Crimson Creek be like

Love how they call it 'Wormwood'! The reference coming no doubt from Revelations, about a place that becomes 'not so nice'.
This must be similar to the school system in places like North Korea
Can someone plz link this full vid

Thank you principal of wormwood *we all say in unison*
This beat drops tho/
Reminds me of the movie Disturbing Behaviour, about a high school that brainwashes kids into model students.
"Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!"
I am secure this is the best school in the world
