The question is what was Ted Serios doing?
A fascinating direction you and co-hostess Sadie are taking your podcast. A rather interesting life story you have. As to the subject at hand, never heard of psychic or thought photography until today. I'm not surprised that spiritism and thought photography are linked. During the Victorian era, people wanted to believe the living could talk with the dearly departed. Something that continues today. To borrow a quote from Stephen King; 'Death is a mystery, and burial is a secret.' As for psychic photography, I doubt anyone could create an image in their mind and project it onto undeveloped film. Uri Geller was 'psychic' who became popular in the 1970's by being able to find water underground, bend spoons, stopping watches or clocks via the radio and mind reading. However, Geller was nearly exposed as a fraud when he appeared on the Johnny Carson show with professional magician James Randi. Instead, Uri Geller was later booked on The Merv Griffin Show and his career took off. As showman P. T. Barnum was right when he said, 'There's a sucker born every minute'.ππ€£
Wow such a great episode and I absolutely loved when you guys discussed a potential world where thought photography was real, I think Tatiana was bang on with her Fahrenheit 51 reference. Also have you guys thought about potential people helping him behind the scenes?
Thank you! That's a good question!
I donβt think he had honestly but I actually found a potential answer after recording this episode and I share it on episode 4! Thank you so much for watching!
Great episode about such an Interesting subject, I'm going to research into it a bit more since I never heard about this before. Thank you both for such another intriguing episode. πβ€

"Fahrenheit 451" was a tragic thought piece that was intended to forewarn a world of human beings that would have no ability to think on their own again, and with the destruction of Books, Movies anything that might "provoke" a random thought (Unlike Orwell's 1984 which allowed you to think, but the government watched anything and everything you did, and privacy no longer existed in any form) would be forbidden. I was very much alive and old enough to remember the books, and the rather shabby movies that missed the point back in that time as we were in the middle of a Cold War, with our mutual destruction supposedly on edge (only to find out in the 1980's that Kruschev/Brezhnev and Kennedy/Johnson were all in absolute fear of a true nuclear war), before China and CCP were even considered an issue, and other so-called axis of evils existed. But as has always been known, if we forget history we are destined to relive it, and unfortunately the world is now moving towards the "Fahrenheit 451" scenario. Minority Report was a fallacy with the use of several individuals that can read the threat minds of citizens. Our governments (all of them) are using Electronic and Physical means to find out if in a pre-determined mind who is good, who is evil, and is creating the environment that all humans will be controlled by the government, not the other way around. Great subject that you both bring about. I will not be alive by the time these precarious issues will occur due to my age, I fear for you both, and the many young people that do not know what will happen when your rights and freedoms have been completely stripped away.
So well put! Couldnβt have wrote it better!
I'm really enjoying "NIGHTHAWKS". Love it!
Thank you so much Tony! π€π»
