I just saw a very similar version of this set at Shaky Knees in Atlanta and I feel compelled to tell the world I had an emotional reaction to Fast Slow Disco. It was their last show of the tour and they were killing it. She had slayed Sugarboy into a different dimension and, even though this was my second time seeing her, it was like a completely different person had some onto the stage and was ready to assert her dominance. Everything about their performance of Fast Slow Disco was perfect: it was freeing, powerful, and yet looked so easygoing. This was my first festival/concert/live performance since the lockdowns and I finally felt something positive: everything was (eventually) going to be okay. I straight up cried a little. That's how amazing this performance was.
Fast Slow Disco elicits an emotional reaction from me every time I hear it. So sad I missed her on this tour. My mother passed away the week St Vincent was in LA and for some reason I always knew there was something preventing me from buying the tickets to see her again. Turns out that's what it was. This show was my other opportunity to possibly see her.
No totally. Annie leveled up so hard this album and tour. Masseduction was definitely confidence but you could still see the nerves and stuff. She seems so secure and confident now and everything is perf. The suits. The curly wig. The bleached eyebrows. The music. The new guitars. Everything is just so perf and she’s like undeniably so much better than the almost perfect stuff she’s done in the past
It's Annie's world and we're all just grooving in it. Oh to be a rhythm guitarist in this band. Jason ending with a broken string is so fitting - such a killer set.
caught her for a 2nd time in NYC during this tour. First time I saw her was at Panorama (had no clue who she was) knew some songs but didnt know the singer and was completely blown away. Annie I am a fan for life.

thank u for the upload, sooooo nice that she is ending the concert with your lips are red!!! hopefully she'll bring the tour to brazil somewhere in the future
Jellyfish is my life's biggest musical obsession and to find Jason Falkner in St. Vincent touring band is a wet dream come true. Add them backup singers and this is musical nirvana
Todas las versiones de canciones en discos anteriores interpretadas con esta banda suenan magnificas. Ni hablar de la gran química que se ve entre todos, en el escenario. Que gran acierto el de Annie al habrr cambiado el formato. Es excelente como suenan todos!
Don't know how I've never heard of this band. I love to discover new unique sounding music and I was channel surfing and I saw Austin City Limits was on. And I see this blonde hair woman shredding the guitar. WWWWoooowwww. What a unique sound. I'm still trying to figure it out. So much funk and crazy sounds coming out of left field. This is what it's all about. Have no clue how I'm just discovering this but i like it😁 I have all night so I'm gonna be digging up some of their live shows from the past. Any recommendations of live shows you love that I can find on RUclips?
Super interesting concert. Another than before but too hard music prefer Annie St. Vincent. Great bands as The Polyphonic Spree playing also Annie have unicate style the same as another band The Flaming Lips alternative rock jazz hippis prog rock and melodic pop. Annie great split generes of music psychedelic avantgarde progressive music with many adding elemental of own style to music. Lovely koncert. Must go with family if be in Poland. Thanks to know new album in live concert this artist. Is great.
When you go from the North end to the South end of a bottle of Chilean Red and you can't stay awake and then you click on this and you isn't going sleep anytime soon !!!
A remarkable shift in performance, its like some sonic soul injection overdrive sauce….I’m trippin balls anyway ya bastards, I’m sweating like on a 70s stakeout listening to these cranky cuts
This version of Digital Witness is ridiculous. It’s almost like if Jabba the Hutt’s funk band from the beginning of Return of the Jedi. Yes. That is what it sounds like. Most notably the utterances of the backup/accent/flourish singers are the crucial link. So is Jabba there backstage to lasso his harem or what? And why frogs? Why couldn’t it have been cosmic kittens. Very lubricated, coarse voiced, recalcitrant, swollen, cosmic kittens. History revealed that strain of kitten to cause gradual but absolute malabsorption of the proteins necessary for the skin of Hutts to retain moisture. See, it’s very clear. Feeding kittens to Hutts is the only way to keep the Rebel Alliance Contra Stella Symphonique touring the far outposts. It’s our only hope. Gather your kittens.
I do miss Toko but wow she and this band and her backup singers sound INCREDIBLE together 🔥
same 😭
I hope this band gets the chance for an international tour. So glad to see the older stuff still absolutely slaps
Yeah! They need to come to Brazil, São Paulo! I hope so!
She's got some international tour dates on her website
This version of Cheerleader is a whole fucking meal of a song.

Ok but this tour is SLAYING SO HARD
Funny that during Marrow she forgot to turn off the tuner so her guitar didn't work. She was literally like "HELP ME" lol
It's Annie's world and we're all just grooving in it. Oh to be a rhythm guitarist in this band. Jason ending with a broken string is so fitting - such a killer set.
glad to see older classics like Marrow still making the cut!!
i find the fact that her guitar got muted at the chorus of marrow so hilarious yet very convenient looking at her guitar tech saying help me
H E L P M E
I hope St. does a full-metal album next
ahhhh this tour is too good. i'm particularly obsessed with this Fast Slow Disco version
RIGHT, that bit where the bass plays with some chorus is immaculate~
@@salsalsalsalsalsal3094 Straight up Peter Hook New Order Bass
Me too it's so good
Cheerleader thru Fear the Future is the most rock n roll ever.
I'm so sad she didn't perform "my baby wants a baby"😭😭😭😭
she did at hollywood bowl. abs amaze. I wanted cruel and masseduction!!
@@mindy561 she did at Pitchfork too, but didn't perform Cruel. Guess it all comes down to set times.
Saw them in Nashville on this tour and I have to say that was the greatest concert I ever witnessed in my life. And I've been to a ton of them.
Still the best set she’s ever done to this day
This was the best performance of the weekend. I miss this festival already.
Are you freaking serius????!!! Watch billies performance and you will change ur option god damn pls
@@ftdtharry u do know we can appreciate other artists without dragging other artists right?
@@ftdtharry was at both. Sorry. St Vincent was WAY better. And I enjoyed Billie's show.
@@ftdtharry of course "Only Billie" is on another artist's shows comment section dragging them and saying Billie is better lol.
@@ftdtharry nah
She finally seems to be having fun!!!here for it 🎉 🎊
This is also something I noticed she looks more comfortable somehow, more comfortable in her own skin.
daddy said no dislikes. Those back up singers are everything
that may be the best version of 'Cheerleader' I have ever heard. just wow!
Annie is a force of nature! Thanks so much for capturing this performance!
Holy shit i love this woman.
Annie!!!🥰
More than a musical performance..A theatrical experience.
slow disco is so good live
sugarboy guitar solo is just 😙👌
She's genius 💗💗 omg this version of fast slow disco 😭😭😭
Was there in the crowd that night. Was insane -- maybe best festival set I've seen
This is really something.
thank uu. my girl needs to perform MBWAB and live in the dream tho😭
Annie absolutely slayed 2021 - exactly what 2021 deserved!
caught her for a 2nd time in NYC during this tour. First time I saw her was at Panorama (had no clue who she was) knew some songs but didnt know the singer and was completely blown away. Annie I am a fan for life.
One of the most interesting female artist. Maybe for me is that Prince (the greatest) influence in her songs.
The whole performance is magnificent.
Two weeks into the tour, and the new band has gotten so tight and confident that they're rocking as hard as Springsteen!
Cheerleader brings me to tears every time I hear it. What an AWESOME talent!
This is the best band and some of the best versions of these already great songs
This is my favourite version of slow disco!! Wow what a fucking band eh? So grateful to hear these arrangements with these geniuses working together

She is just so awesome and can perform as well, very nice
the fast slow disco rendition is a total banger
This is not simply a concert , it's stimulation for the senses. Idk where I was I didn't know about this amazing band
The quality of this is insane! Thanks so much. Just got home from a show -
I love the relative absence of backing tracks. She'd gone too far down that path to the detriment of her performances. This is real and I love it!
I love u for uploading this
Please come to Argentina!!!
Just got my tix to see her in Edinburgh next year.. yaaass!
Sabia que alguien iba a grabar lo de anoche, thank you.
Wowww. FRESH n Super ARTISTY!

On the last song, the guitarist broke his string but improvised much of the song with just 5.
It's Annie-Tune on Daddy's Home

I did that two nights ago playing bass. It happens to all of us :)
Wow
im actually sad shes performing the same old songs in every tour but the new songs + title track are so fucking amazing live
that blonde hair and losing her clothes reminds me of Madonna for some reason
What’s the song at 23:00
