    Hi Dave, You may recall my 1971 international 354 down here in Rhode Island. I contacted the Pump Guy you suggested am at a point where I need to remove the CAV Lucas fuel pump and then reinstall. I think you directed me to a video of that project but I can't seem to find it. If there is such a thing please point me in its direction. Thanks very much! Steve

      If you check out this video; ruclips.net/video/U4jQKogm1Hc/видео.html you will see what you are working with. Remove the lines from the pump, take the round cover off the front timing cover that is in front of the injector pump and take the bolts out of the pump gear, (with the timing cover in place the gear can't get out of time). Then remove the three bolts that hold the pump to the engine and the pump will come free.

    Hello Dave, Canadian Redneck, following the videos on the channel, I really like mechanics of old tractors, and whenever I can I follow your work. . This way Jose Goncalves,City Bagé, RS, Brazil, Border with Uruguay, campaign region and plantations with many tractors and agricultural machines. Hello Dave quick question I have a international 444 diesel and was wondering if there was an adjustment that you know of on the pto clutch? the driving clutch works fine i dont know if the pto clutch is just locked up or if there's some kind adjustment for it. I took the cover off and looked at it to see if something was broken and it all looked fine. It doesn't disengage with the clutch I have a manual for it somewhere we just moved and I thank it got lost in the move cause I can't find it anywhere. Your video's are awesome thanks for all you do.

      There are three bolts around the outside of the pressure plate halfway out the stack. The clearance of the head of the bolt is supposed to be set at .080-.090 ". Thanks for watching!

      Hi Dave been watching your videos for quite a while. Couple questions for you does the 444 and the 354 have the same model diesel engine. I believe you could also get both models with gas engines ? I’m replacing a head gasket on a 354 “diesel” the manual I have states that I should use gasket that has two bolt holes fitted with “ferrules”. I’ve contacted a few suppliers but can’t find that type head gasket. Do you have any suggestions where I might find that type gasket. Your videos have sure helped me out quite a few times. Keep them coming. Thanks

    Hello friend from Greece. Nice video and informative.But aside from the cost of the parts, how much does the labor of an engine rebuild cost for this particular tractor? I'm asking because I have international 434. If you want, of course you can answer me. Thanks

    Hi Dave, I’ve got a 560 that I’m changing out the oil pan gasket. I noticed you don’t use any sealants on cork gaskets. This oil pan has grooves in between the bolt holes. Would you ever use any type of Permatex product on both sides of this gasket or just dry? Thank you for your time. Robert

    • @CanadianRedneck15
      @CanadianRedneck15  Год назад +1

      With a good clean surface and new gasket I prefer to put the gasket on dry, I find they will bond right to the metal that way. Thanks for watching!
