- Responding to questions about Budget 2023 in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tore into the opposition. When Congress MPs raised slogans against Prime Minister Modi over the Adani row, Nirmala Sitharaman said Congress should 'rinse their mouth with Dettol'. She said that the Congress party must not be levelling corruption allegations against anybody else. She also called out the opposition for throwing allegations but staging a walkout when they are given a response for it.
