- It's true, another prefab home company is expanding their operations and will be manufacturing in America. I recently heard from a viewer that a company may be expanding into the American market and after a bit of digging it appears to be true. When available they will bring an entirely new style to the market and I think they'll be a good fit for the area they're building. I like the simplicity of it. Closer to a "normal" house, which makes it surprising that I really like it. I like the simplicity of it.

I remember an article years ago about a house built in Russia that looked like this. In checking out the website I'm positive that the one I saw was the 4 bedroom plan. Thought at the time that it looked really great but never imagined they'd be available in the U.S. someday. Nice find!

This is good to hear. I've always liked the look of their designs and was crossing fingers they'd make their way to North America.
That look does have potential.
They would look good in most locations, and I think that the looks alone could help maintain its value or even go up in most settings.👍🏆👍
Not sure I’d pick close to Denver…its becoming a city in ruins due to influx of thousands of illegals and a city of hundreds of homeless already. People are moving out of Denver in droves .
Dubldom should look into MT or WY with a lot of land and people escaping democrat run cities are moving to both states .
@@hill1776On the plus side, if lots of folks are indeed leaving Denver, that should make it a more affordable location for others to move to, which makes the placement for this company’s first US installation a smart business decision (having zero to do with any other issues).

1. This is definitely designed & planned for remote locations both in countryside & mountains (for great view) as rare full time residence, vacation home or large cabin... especially with such spectacular windows that somehow lessen your privacy & security but give you extra sightseeings advantage.
2. Obviously they are choosing and using Denver as capital of Colorado for office location & convenience of negotiations, for legal address & business establishment, maybe for showroom location and ... for nothing more than than. No one in sober mind will build such home within the city limits or even inside nearby gated communities in suburbs and satellite cities.

I think these are very appealing. The exterior architecture is very nice. The interiors are great no matter what size you’re looking at to buy. 50 miles away from Denver isn’t very far so sadly it doesn’t matter how much I like it. Great video. Cheers!

Hallelujah. I’ve been wishing they’d become available here. Best design of them all. I’ll wait now for them to start production instead of looking for the most similar version here on the market.

Kerry, thank you for covering this company. I came across their houses several years ago and fell in love with the design, but there was no way to get them in the USA at the time. I think there was a FAQ section that mentioned they were getting a lot of interest from North America, and that they were considering expanding to the USA, but had no way at that time to order one. I don't live within 50 miles of Denver, but I will definitely start following them closely again. Thanks for bringing them back to my attention.

FINALLY! It's about time it made the jump to America...
This builder started in Russia and things halted for US expansion after Russia and Ukraine popped off. I seen this a couple years ago and was considering them but keep in mind if anything does hit out market the prices you're seeing will greatly be adjusted to our current modular builders if they can even pass the HUD code and be sold here without making changes which undoubtedly will raise cost. Cool houses but I doubt we will see them on US soil anytime soon.

In Russia those cost like $30-40k
Every national market dictates & follows demand & supply according to its customers purchasing power & strength of the local currency. Ruble is underestimated 100% & exchange rate should have been twice lower then it is now (₽50 per $1 not ₽100 per $1). Maybe that will explain you a little bit more about low prices in Russia for final products (including food & utilities)

Good idea and reasonable pricing. Judging from the names of the models, like Kashtan (chestnut in Russian), and the fact that company operates in Russia, this is originally a Russian company that undergoes international expansion. Russia now goes through the construction boom phase and they incorporate and creatively rework a lot of the best best house building practices from around the world and their own on how to build houses relatively cheaply, as Russian RE market is not as much flush with cash as one in US.

Maybe they have a unique design, and rather than doing a pre-release and having competitors copy it, sometimes before their own plans become finalized, they chose to hold their plans close to the vest until they are ready. 😊 (Yes, I know, one hell of a run on sentence. 🤓)
Russians never worry about copycats because building a house is I like building a rocket 🚀 - is all about technology and quality of the work done during its creation and assembly.
I've watched this channel for over a year and the only modular builder that seems to be a real company is Wolf Modulars in Battle Ground, WA. There is an actual address and phone number you can call and talk to a real person. You can go to their site where they break down the price. There are also photos of their completed jobs. Their prices are pretty reasonable.

Great look, fantastic interior, reasonable price. The only thing I'd like to change is the amount of windows. It seems that architects think these homes will be built out in the middle of nowhere where privacy isn't a problem.

Another building block of our knowledge of an emerging service. Thanks Kerry. One thing I do find rather curious is that everyone seems to ooo and aaahhh over canopied outdoor spaces attached to the structure. I honestly don't get it. Seems like that would be an easy up-sell for a builder and which would allow very creative deck designs rather than limiting to what can be carried on the initial load to the site. This has been perplexing to me for.a while. I get the attraction. But I'm a cheap pragmatic man. Send me a completed shell and I will add on as time and money permits. That canopied section isn't an immediate need. Any thoughts on your side?
I presume the assembly speed is the allure. $200 per sq ft is pricey for open plan with material costs between $20 and $40 per sq ft.

I think it would be interesting if instead of a glass wall on the end, a glass wall side and the foot print being on par with a US double wide...in other words, if this floor plan were installed in a park, instead of everyone of being open view to the street or backyard, it is open view to the adjacent lot. It would also have a higher roofline with the peak in the middle and the slope towards the small ends instead of the long sides.

THIS LOOKS AWESOME 28MIN! THESE THE RUSSIANS? LOOKED AT THEIR STUFF A COUPLE YRS AGO! YEP COLO, TRIED MYSELF!
I emailed them in Oct. '23 and again in Jan '24 and got no response. There apparently were a couple that had been built in Colorado which is what I was inquiring about in Jan. because I was excited that they were finally building in the US but they just never answered. I think I must have seen the Colorado ones on their instagram page. There was an article in Curbed from 2016 that said Dubldom was starting to take pre-orders from the US. At that time their 280sq ft studio was starting at 23k and 80k for one of the larger ones so obviously the prices have gone up. I wish I could get some clarity from their customer service on whether they are actually building them in the US or not.
They have been saying they will be coming to Denver for more than a year. It's unlikely that these would meet the code requirements for many communities near Denver. For example, Boulder County has strict requirements related to energy efficiency. I have yet to see a new home in recent years built without a foundation. The fact that they can't answer a simple inquiry from you says a lot.

I got excited for a minute but if the smallest one is currently almost 120k and that doesn't likely include delivery or set up and the price will be higher when it hits the states unfortunately that's definitely not affordable for me
