  • Probably the BEST UNTOUCHED ITALIAN PROPERTY near Cortona I HAVE EVER SEEN. Tour this stunning property in TUSCANY with Nick Ferrand.
If I had the money I would be buying this! Not just as the perfect Italian Home in Italy, but also as a long term Italian Property Investment. It's gorgeous.
This original Italian farmhouse is set in 2.5ha of private lush walled gardens with a cypress lined drive. There's approximately 1,000 sqm of gross floor area which includes 650 sqm of the main house and 350 sqm of annexes. Beautiful mature plans, flat land, views of Cortona and surrounding hill, full of original features, beautiful floors, ceilings and doors. It's a restorers dream Italian Property.
For anyone who is looking for an Italian restoration project or just wants to buy and build their dream Italian home, then this is the Italian Property for you. I expect this unmodernised Italian noble home will sell immediately. As I said, if I had the money, I would buy it.
    Asking Price: 800,000 Euros
For further information please just email: info@abodeitaly.com
This week I would like to give a BIG shout out to Karin and Max Van Der Linden from Hannibal Properties. www.hannibalproperties.com.
Have you purchased any MERCH? I hope so.
    Best wishes,
    Nick.

The most surprising element of this video, for me, is the artifacts that are still there and unmolested. If it were here in the states, everything would have been looted long ago. Great house, great property. Well done

    • @curtisboswell2619

Extensive renovation, particularly when it comes to adding plumbing pipe, and electrical conduit. It will be complicated by the stone construction that our tour guide is gushing over. Don't get me wrong, the stonework was beautifully done, by master masons, to be sure... but that doesn't change the fact that unless you want exposed conduit in every room of the house? Conduit channels will have to be added, and then plastered over... and that's going to be rather large pain in one's posterior.

It will cost a bunch to modernize and carefully reconfigure but for anyone with a vision, a good architect and a love of all the old world beauty already here, it count be worth it and offer an amazing lifestyle to work at home. That entire top floor wil be gorgeous turned into bedrooms and baths. I'd be reluctant to change the ground floor i think, but I can also see the immense potential of those spaces. All of it and the garden too! Just amazing. This is one of your houses I'd love to get a tour of in 6 years again, to see what the new owners have done with it! What a wonderful tour Nick! Speechless. The land is spectacular and the house unchanged for many years. It was like a museum or a set for a movie. The bedroom arrangement was circular I think. This was not a house for rich but a working farm or perhaps in the older years it was more like an Inn? I love the driveway and wisteria, a hint of what the property will be when a developer snatches this up. Not for the faint of heart or older people who don’t have the time needed to restore and redesign. It is always fun having you show us property and the diversity keeps the channel interesting. Hope that the lucky person who buys this treasure of a property not touch the cellars for restoration because they are existing museum sections .It’s a stand still back in time. Just look at these hoard of oak coffers (barrels), the glass / basket wine containers, olive oil terracotta pots, the weighting scale and all the other necessities in making medieval 12th century wine including Vin Santo. It is actually a wine and grains producing property, even the upstairs rooms have many grape drying racks; and the metal sieves in the adjoining farm houses, (such gems). Not to mention the subterranean crypt grain silos and the old but stylish indoor Well (first timers for me) in the initial restoration of the main reception area and the kitchen of the central abode. Beautiful…

I don’t agree. It has lots of water and electrics. All it needs is a kitchen and a bottle of Chianti Classico. Oh, and a deep clean. 😊

Thank you Nick for another interesting property. So many rooms, one after the other, after the other! Many possibilities for someone to take this home and make it their own. See you on the next one!

A beautiful property with history and potential that you filmed very well.
I liked your comment about engaging an architect but some of your crass comments are atrocities, 12th Century property must be treated with respect, to maintain in character with the compulsory modernisation.
Like you, it would be beyond my expertise but I can see the potential.

Nick this is a big fantastic house, I was pretty close on price. Heck of a deal I’d say, probably worth triple once renovated! I saw the truck backed up to the house, did you get that cool door? Cheers Kirk

A real time capsule, but unfortunately :
    1. You do not want a well in your house ( humidity and critters...)
    2. Too dark !!! with all the small openings and house surrounded by tree.
    😢

Awesome place, a tech room in the cantina, shame on you! That is a museum of living history!
