Question Sir, if i move my shelves to another pc with new PCNAME but i've made my own icons to my shelves, if they don't load in that PC.... so should i edit my mel shelf to "find and replace" the pcname of new...... or don't need... what should i do ...pls Reply
If just PC name is different you should not change anything. Depends if your user name changed too. There's a path to icon saved in your C:\Users\\Documents\maya\\prefs\shelves\.mel. So if icon path is still the same you don't need to change anything. If there's a slight difference just search and replace the wrong part.
